Narrator:

In the era of 2080, the world had become a place so dark, that accidental death was a case so normalized it was even a discussion for tea. People killed one another ever so often, and while justice would be served, it did not mean the killings ever stopped. Murder was as common as snow on a winter day.

Yeh Suh's parents often worried about her safety ever since she was a child, given how harsh the outside world can be to a young girl such as herself, so her dad, being the rich guy he was, had hired a guard to protect her. As securing as it was, Yeh Suh didn't like being tailed wherever she went. That might be one of the reasons why she never had lasting friends.

In time, Yeh Suh made her parents drop the bodyguard move. Once she had grown and come of age, Yeh Suh took it to fend for herself, going to her work and roaming the streets like everybody else. Of course she knew it was dangerous, and often watched her back on empty streets, but Yeh Suh wasn't completely defenseless. Having had seen her knock out a guy twice her size like Jin San, I'm sure it's safe to say, Yeh Suh has had her own share of self defense lessons.

But that didn't mean the fear of being murdered on the street had left her completely.

You see, freedom comes with a price, and in Yeh Suh's case, it was the constant fear of being attacked in the middle of anywhere. She often had thoughts of how she'd deal with it if she were ever stabbed in the road or shot in the store mach or chest.

Her mind would go into overdrive coming up with wats she would call for help, or stop the bleeding, or the hardest part, get away from her killer. She had made plenty of plans, keeping in mind to use her self defense weapons hidden in every crevice of her clothing.

None of that came to her mind when the time actually came. When Yeh Suh actually ended up getting shot.

Her head went blank, her body immobile, as every thought of fighting for her life swept under the rug and all she could do was stare ahead of her with eyes wide like soccer balls and lips parted in an attempt to breath. But the breath had been knocked out of her quite painfully.

It seemed like hours passed as every single individual remained motionless in the soon to crash plane, eyes focused on the bleeding girl as she stood there gawking at her shooter, dread filling her face. Until it happened. She sunk to the floor.

"Yoonah!"

Yeh Suh heard many scream, but who they belonged to, she didn't know. All she knew was her harsh fall wasn't harsh at all, but was cushioned by many arms draping over her as she sunk down on the lap of someone, whom she later noticed, was Taehyung.

"I- uh I-"

"Shh. D-don't talk." Jimin whispered from her side, his trembling hands reaching towards her stomach before he pressed down on it, trying to hold back the fountain of blood oozing.

With her eyes stinging with tears from the excruciating pain of being shit, Yeh Suh begin to look around her, at the ones holding her. Taehyung, who was cradling her in his arms. Jimin, who was trying to stop the bleeding. And SeokJin, who was brushing her hairs back with his shivering hands as he muffled his sobs.

"My... my phone."

With tears freely streaming down his eyes, Taehyung craned his neck to hear the bleeding girls whisper. "What?"

"My phone, hyung." Yeh Suh whispered weekly, the color slowly draining from her face as she lifted a trembling hands to grab a fistful of his jacket. "H-hand me... my... p-phone."

And the others, the were rooted to their spots. It seemed like the reality before them hadn't sunk in, unable to believe their eyes until Jungkook finally turned around facing the shooter with disbelief and horror etched to his face.
