"So you're a virgin?" He asked. I oddly didn't feel embarrassed. I felt like it was easy to open up to him.

"Yup." He pulled me on top of him and I rested my head on his shoulder as he wrapped his arms around my waist. Stroking my ass with his hands from time to time.

"Why?" He asked making me giggle, "I'm serious. You're the most beautiful woman I've ever laid eyes on."
"I didn't always look like this," I admitted.
He chucked, "I didn't always look like this either."
"True, but you've always been rich." We both laughed.

He kissed my forehead softly.
"Can I tell you something?" I whispered softly.
"You can tell me anything." He moved my hair out of my face so I could look at him clearly.
"I had a dream that," I looked down nervously, "we were together."
"And?"
"And I was pregnant," I spat out. He didn't say anything for a few seconds so I looked up at him. He was smiling ear to ear.

"Really?!" He asked. I giggled.
"Yeah."
"Oh my gosh!" He sighed happily and looked at the ceiling, "I would love that."
"Really?" I asked. He looked back at me and kissed my cheek.

"You're the only woman I would ever want to carry my children." I smiled and stood up, putting on my pants.

"We have to get up tomorrow for the cook out!" I yelled to him.
"Oh yeah!" He yelled, interrupting him from his gaze, "I'll take you home."

-

We arrived at my building and he walked me to the door. We didn't say anything to each other, but his presence was enough for me.
We arrived at the door and I turned to face him.

"So where's the cookout at?" He asked.
"My grandmas house in Cleveland."
"I've never been there," he mumbled as he looked down.
"Well it's gonna be loads of fun!" I stood on my toes and kissed him.

"I'm nervous baby," he whispered.
"Babe! They'll love you!" I laughed and hugged him.
"I'm ...babe now?" He asked.

"Oh...I umm-" he suddenly kissed me deeply, holding my face with both hands.
"I don't have to be your boyfriend yet in your eyes, but you're my girlfriend in mine." I giggled and looked down.
"I really, really, really care about you, Monroe."
"I care about you too!" He sighed and let go of my face.

"I'll pick you up tomorrow?" He asked.
"No," I laughed, "you can't roll three black Mercedes' through Cleveland."

"Oh," he nervously rubbed the back of his neck.
"I'll get you, don't worry." We kissed one last time and he began to walk away. I unlocked my loft door and walked inside.

"Six days!" He yelled.
"Whatever!" I yelled as I closed the door.

-
I woke up to my phone buzzing.

"Hello?" I answered.
"Sorry," the voice said. I looked at my clock and it was five in the morning.
"Who is this?" I whispered.
"Meka."
"Meka what the fuck?!" I whispered.
"You say my name wrong. It's not Mee-Kah, it's Meh-Kah."

Is he serious right now?!

"I'm sorry Meka," I laid back in my bed and looked at the ceiling,"why are you calling me at five in the morning?!"
"I had a nightmare."
"Are you crazy?!" I yelled.
"No."
"Are you sure?!"
"Don't call me crazy just because you don't understand me." I grunted, but he was right. I didn't understand him one bit.

"What do you need Meka?" I asked, trying to keep calm.
"I'm sorry for how I acted yesterday."
"It's fine Meka, goodnight." I reached to hang up the phone.
"Wait," he whispered.
"What?!"

"Do you sleep on your back or on your side at night?" He asked.
"My stomach," I grunted through my teeth.
"I sleep on my back. But then sometimes I wake up with a back ache."
"Cool Meka!" I yelled angrily, "goodnight!"

"Wait," he whispered.
"Meka, what?!"
"I...I never get to talk to anybody."

I sighed finally giving up, "Why?" I asked.
"I get too scared."
"Well don't be so afraid," I replied.

"Remember when you hugged me?" He asked.
"Yes."
"I never had...that," he whispered.
"Your Mom never hugged you?"
"I never knew my Mom. I grew up in an orphanage."

"Oh...sorry," I whispered. That's so sad, I almost cried.
"That's where I learned to paint," he whispered, "I would save all my of lunch money and go buy new canvases and paint brushes. Then I'd sit outside and paint everything I see."
"That's amazing Meka," I whispered, laying next to the phone.

"I guess," he replied.
"Well if you ever need to talk you can call me."
"Thanks," he replied.
"Well goodnight," I reached to press the 'end' button."

"Wait," he whispered again. I laughed.
"Yes Meka?"
"Don't hang up."
"Why?" I asked.
"I don't want to be alone."

"Okay Meka," I replied as I closed my eyes.
"Goodnight," he whispered.
"Goodnight."

~~~~~~~~~~~DAY 2~~~~~~~~~~~~
My alarm went off
"10:00 AM," it read.
I stretched and sat up.
"Good morning," I heard from my phone. I gasped, then remembered my call with Meka. I sighed.
"Good morning, Meka."
"Did I scare you?" He asked.
"No."
"Okay."
"Did you sleep last night?" I asked.
"No."
"Why?"
"Painting," he whispered, "I'd love to show you sometime this week." I smiled.
"Sure," I smiled.
"I have to go, I was just waiting for you to wake up." He replied.
"What do you have to do today?" I asked as I let my hair out of its bun.
"Sleep." He replied softly. I laughed.
"Well bye Meka."
"Bye."
"You should text me." He paused for a minute.
"Sure," he agreed.
"Well see ya!"
"Yeah," suddenly the phone hung up.
I cannot figure him out for the life of me.
-
I finished taking my shower then brushed my teeth. Suddenly my phone began to ring again. I threw on a towel and walked over to my bed to read the caller ID.
Ray.
"Hello?" I yelled as I pressed speakerphone.
"WHAT DO I WEAR?!" Ray yelled.
"What?" I laughed. He sounded extremely stressed out.
"Do I wear a suit?!"
"No!" I yelled.
"WHAT?!" He shouted. I continued to laugh.
"Just put on a white T-shirt and some jeans."
"Why would I wear an undershirt outside?!" He yelled.
"Trust me!" I yelled.
"UGHHHH" he grunted and hung up the phone.
