Deciding it was now or never, I pushed the great oak doors, and ran out into the muddy grounds.
Glee propelled me forward. Laughing and smiling – real actions I had not made in a while – every time I stumbled or tripped.
"Wha' the bloody 'ell 're you doin' out 'ere?" Boomed a voice.
"Oh, hello Hagrid." I say, turning to face the half giant.
"Ah, 'ello Eleria." Hagrid says stumbling on my name. "Make sure Filch doesn't catch ya, eh."
"Loud and clear, sir." I say, imitating a muggle soldier.
I stay in the rain for a bit longer, then advance towards the castle. Before stating up the stairs, I perform a few simple spells to remove the water and mud form the shoes and clothes. Then I walk up and into the buzzing Entrance Hall.
