Epilogue 8: A New Face

I kept falling for what felt like forever but then when I looked I saw that there was something that looked like water and I saw that I was coming in fast so I held my breath as I felt myself slam into the body of water.

"Pwaahhh" I exhaled as I swam out of the water and crawled back onto land while being drenched but when O looked around what I saw was similar to the cavern I lived in when residing inside the beast glades but bigger, without trees and with more light it even had a sky somehow but I didn't question that.

when I looked around I could see some mana beasts but none of them could do anything to me. But even though I saw this I was completely confused and questioning where I was.

Cross: " Where am I ? " but before I could question anything any longer I was interrupted by a voice that was chuckling

???: "Hm hm hm Your reaction was very amusing, to say the least," This made me spin around ready to fight but instead of seeing a person standing there what I saw was even crazier.

It was a Dragon And I don't mean A dragon from this world it looked way different from any of the other dragons it had both feathers and scales and even though it had four limbs and wings it was standing on its hind legs. But that wasn't what caught my eye what caught it was the way that the two horns on its head were shaped like crescent moons and then shoot forward at the top. Another was also how The dragon had a glow in its chest, wings, and arms.

I was shocked when I saw the Dragon standing there but then The dragon laughed

???: "Hahaha Don't just stand there like that someone might mistake you for a statue," The dragon said laughing even more then finally stopped and then got on all four and moved its head right in front of me and smiled

Cross: "Wh- who are you? " I asked a bit scared cause even though I was confident in my martial art skills I knew that I would get instantly killed by an S or higher their mana beast. This made the Dragon chuckle and look me in the eyes with theirs

???: " C'mon can't you recognize my voice? after all, it's the one you wanted to meet after all" When they said that I went wide-eyed.

Cross:" Wait you'r the voice that called for me during that time!?" I yelled making the dragon flinch back a little probably because of how loud I was

???: "Yes child I am the voice that called you here" I was amazed that I was called by a dragon but was interrupted when she motioned me to follow her which I did.

Cross: " So not to be rude but why are you down here and why did you look for me specifically?" I asked still confused by all this

She looked over her shoulder and looked back forward

???: " The reason why I called you here is that you are one of the only ones like me in this world. You're not from this world are you," she said probably knowing that I wasn't from this world as well But still surprised me

" Yes I am from another world but if you said were the same that would mean that you are from another world as well," I said putting together the pieces. They nodded but before we could keep walking they stopped and turned to me

???: " Oh dear where are the manners I haven't given you my name yet even after all this time" I just nodded saying yea" Well My name Is Zefia The Queen of Dragons in my world" She then struck a pose by crossing her arms and standing on her hein legs but instead of making me astonished her pose made me start to bust out laughing

Cross: " HAHAHAHAHAH" I laughed pointing at her which made her face red with embarrassment and went back to normal but then started telling me to stop laughing at her
