Chapter 30: Continental Tournament Part 5

[ Quarter Finals Part 1]

-3rd pov-

After all of the 1st round battles, it's been 3 hours and for that time the Contestants have been regaining their strength and mana and right now there are was only 30 minutes left and the Silver Claw siblings are all sitting at a table that they made while eating some of their food which was prepared by Ceaya in the morning 

"Mm your ooking ish really goog shis!" he said trying to complement Ceaya's cooking but he had a full mouth making it muffled 

"Hahaha Thanks, Argin but make sure to keep your mouth closed and swallow it down unless you want to choke," Ceaya said to him which made him nod before going back to wolfing his food down 

And all the while this was happening Keiser was eating his food slowly while thinking of something that's been on his mind for a while now but was broken out of his stupor by Ceaya who tapped his shoulder 

"Keiser" she called out to him asking him to flinch and blink before turning to face her 

"Oh, yuh Yeah you need something Ceaya?" he asked 

"Yeah you haven't said a word and I was wondering if you're ok," she said as Keiser's eyes widened a bit 

" Oh yeah I'm fine just thinking that's all," he said as he went back to eating while thinking back to what he was leaving Ceaya to look at him worryingly before she sighed and pulled his head into her chest and stroked his hair making him blush and look up at her while she looked down at him.

"Well just make sure to ask us if you need help with anything ok," she told Keiser with a warm smile making keisers face turn even redder before he got his composure and nodded 

"Good," she said as she let go of his head and walked away while hiding her red ears 

"hey Keiser why don't you just tell her how you feel already?" Argin asked Keiser who stopped eating and choked on his food before hitting his chest and swallowing his food before looking at Argin 

"Who said I have any feelings man C'mon," he said looking away which only made Argin chuckle 

"Hehehe alright then I guess but trust me it'll be better to confess to her because if you don't someone will come and sweep her from under your feet or something will happen to her where you can't," he said while looking down as he slowed his pace of eating makgin Keiser look at him and nod before getting up and sitting next to him and putting one arm around him and hugging him.

The relationship between Argin and Keiser is like sworn brothers because they have known each other far longer than they knew Ceaya so Ceaya doesn't know much about their pasts.

[Keiser was a child born from two humans and when he was 4 both of his parents were killed by racist elves near the border of the human and elven kingdom which forced him to wander around the human kingdom and kill others like him just to survive and during that time he's seen many dark things but one day when he was 11 he was taken in by an old man who was a retired knight who fought in the elven war and he taught him a lot about about the sword and many other things about life like how to be nice and how to be a true knight who no matter what race someone is saving them no matter what, but years later one day at a large town that they were staying was attacked by a large Mana beast the looked similar to a demon and during that fight many adventurers died and that included the old knight that trained Keiser and when he died with Keiser's rage that made him unlock his mana core which allowed him to kill the mana beast and after that, Kieser doesn't like to talk about it]

[Then there was Argin who hasn't told Keiser much about his past but the parts that he did tell him about were that his parents who were a human male and dwarven female were killed when he was 4 because of a reason he didn't know and that the years after that were blurry to him and that everything after that seemed hazy as well but what he could make out was he found a new family but they were killed]
