MAGNIFICENT. The house that Nessa was looking at was absolutely magnificent. She stood inside a two-story modern house not knowing what to do. It was the most beautiful thing she had ever dreamed of seeing and now she was inside it. Her heart began to ache in a good way. This was the first time she experienced one of her dreams coming true and it was all because of Lucas. A burning sensation began to invade her entire body. She felt as if her heart were swelling and she had no idea why...NO, that was not true, she knew why, and it all had to do with Lucas. Nessa turned to face him and without preamble she lunged herself at him and kissed him on the mouth hard.

Lucas caught her tiny body lifting her up to hold her against him as he devoured her lips. She didn't ask for permission to enter his mouth, she simply pushed her way in wanting to taste him, to have his tongue caressing hers.

He lowered his hands and cupped her perfect, round ass causing her to wrap her legs around his waist as he pulled her closer to him needing her heat pressed against his starving body.

"Tell me what...I did...to deserve this...reaction," he said between kisses, "so I...do it...all the time." He devoured her mouth once again tasting her sweet tongue against his. He loved her hands buried in his hair as she tugged on it deepening the kiss even more.

Nessa wasn't thinking, she was feeling, and it was terrifying and exhilarating at the same time. Her core was on fire with desire for this man and it terrified her to her very soul. She began to grind herself against his very noticeable and very large erection.

"Nessa..." Lucas began to break away from the kiss carefully. "I want you so much," he said looking in her brown eyes, making sure that she was looking at him. "We need to stop before I can't."

Nessa's cheeks flushed even more than they already were, she knew that men had a breaking point where they found it next to impossible to stop and she saw it in his eyes and Lucas was at that point.

"I'm sorry." She began to unwrap her legs from his waist, but he did not let her, confusing her, and scaring her a little.

"I don't ever want you to be sorry for kissing me or doing what you want with me." He grinned shamelessly at her. "I just don't want to rush you because if the day comes that the gods grant me the wonderful gift of having you in my bed, I need you to know that I will not be fucking you."

All kinds of confusion swirled around her head. "Ok, then what will you do with me?"

He pecked her lips gently and smiled at her. "I'll make love to you until you cry out with ecstasy. I'll make you hotter than the very flames of hell."

Nessa threw her head back and laughed with a type of joy she had no idea was possible. "Are you for real Lucas McAllister?"

"I'm afraid so Nessa..." He raised an eyebrow in question. "I actually have no idea what your last name is."

Nessa unwrapped her legs from around his waist and he was forced to set her down. DAMN! He cursed himself. He had stepped over the line with the name thing. He had to recover, he had to fix it, so she was at ease once again.

"Hey, don't worry, you can say anything to me when you're ready or say nothing, whatever you want, ok." He thought he would be sick from the tension and nerves rolling through him until she smiled at him and caressed his smooth cheek.

"I don't know if I'll ever feel safe enough to talk about my past. If and when I do, you'll be the first one I tell okay."

He nodded his head in agreement. "Don't rush it, sweetheart, we have all the time in the world."

"Sweetheart?" she asked.

"I'm sorry, I won't—" He was cut off by her finger against his lips.

"I like it, chill out Mac."

He grinned at the nickname she had just given him. "Let's go get you settled in and fed and I'll give you the grand tour tomorrow, so you can rest tonight."

After a very hearty meal of steak, potatoes, salad and peach cobbler, Lucas took Nessa to her room.

"This will be your room. I hope it's to your liking." He opened the door and let her walk inside.

Her mouth dropped. It was simply the most beautiful and delicate room she had ever seen. A four-post queen size bed stood towards the back of the wall with two matching nightstands on either side. The windows on each side of the bed had benches with floral cushions for reading or just sitting and the sheer curtains were pulled to the sides with a violet sash. The vanity was next to the walk–in closet. A small desk stood to the left of the room close to the fireplace which had two high back chairs with a small round table in between them, sitting a few feet away from it. The whole room was done in violet and white and some floral print. It was absolutely divine.

"The bathroom is through here." Lucas walked to the door on the other side of the room and opened it. "There's a jacuzzi tub and a shower and everything you'll need. In that closet there, you'll find the towels and the extra toilet paper and whatever else you might think of that you want will be placed in there or wherever you tell the maids to place in it."

"Maids?" She turned to look at him. "I don't think I want anyone bothering with my things," she said with concern plaguing her face. She stepped back out into the bedroom and let out a loud sigh.

"What is it?" Lucas walked up to her, wanting to wrap his arms around her but thought it a bad idea at the moment, not wanting to frighten her or make her uncomfortable.

"I think maybe this is a bad idea, I shouldn't have come." She turned to face him. "You can't seriously be offering me all this for nothing, I'm sorry, I just can't believe it, I can't believe you. Nothing good has ever come my way without giving anything in return."

"You're right, I do want something from you," he said.

Nessa's heart began to pound. I knew it! Her inner voice screamed at her. She knew it had been a mistake. She had to grab her things and run while she still could.

Nessa took a few steps back. Her eyes were already searching for ways out of that room. His large frame blocked the path to the main door. She still had the option of the two windows.

Her bag. She would need her bag if she ran, it had her whole life in there.

"Before you decide to throw yourself out the window, relax for me okay. All I ask for in return for everything I will give you is loyalty. It's a deal breaker for me. I can't live with lies, but in your case, it comes with the package, and I understand, but I demand loyalty at all times."

Nessa allowed herself to relax...some. Loyalty was something she had always wanted and never got from anyone in her life.

"Explain," she said with one simple word. She took a few more steps back out of habit.

"Stop backing away, I'm not going to hurt you." His voice was a little harsher than he had intended it to be. "While you're under my roof and enjoying all the perks, you will not go out with other men romantically. You can have friends. I don't mind you having all the friends that you wish to have but no sex with other men."

"Except you," she said, keeping her cool. "Because I assume you expect me to fuck you in return for all the things you will give me, right?" Her voice was bitter. She had been there, done that and she would rather be homeless than go back to something like that again.

"I already told you that I would not be fucking you and I do not expect anything from you except Loyalty." He eyed her body language. She was stiff once again; her arms were not crossed so that meant she was receptive still.

"Okay, fine, I can deal with that, but you have to give me the same curtesy." She turned her head slightly to the left and narrowed her eyes, expecting him to decline.

"Done," he said, leaving her speechless and stunned.

"You won't fuck any women while I'm here? Not one?"

Lucas growled softly getting annoyed with the term she continued to use. "I already told you that I do not fuck, and yes, I will not sleep with any women." Except you, he thought smiling to himself.

Again, Nessa turned her head to the right a little without taking her eyes off him. Was he for real? It was too good to be true. Things like that did not just happen to her. There had to be a catch and if there was, she would find it and then she would deal with it and him before he had a chance to deal with her.
