As Elizabeths starts to gain conscious, she quickly sits up. But as she sits up, she winces at the pain.
"Hey, it's ok. Take it easy."
She wraps her right hand around her torso and looks at Bucky. That's when the realization hits her.
"No," she breaths out.
Her face drops and is overcome by fear and panic. With her other hand, she runs her fingers through her hair. She stands up and walks over to the doorway of the circular cell. She grips the bars, and then she tries to bull them and bend them apart.
Normally, she'd be able to, but this wasn't your normal metal. It was stronger and more durable. She looks around at the other cells and she can tell that they are a different type of metal. Meaning that they built this cell just for her. Trying again, her knuckles turn white. The men exchanged looks at each other.
Bucky stands up and places a hand on her shoulder.
"Liz," he says softly, but she keeps trying.
Pulling harder with all her might, but still no budge comes from the bars. She can't help but grunt as she tries pulling them apart.
"Liz," he says a little bit louder.
Then he grips her shoulders and turns her around.
"Elizabeth! Stop," he commands.
Bucky can see the fear in her eyes though. All she can do was shake her head.
"We need to get out," she says, trying her best to push down the tears and the lump in her throat. "We need to leave. I don't know what their going to do to you," she says frantically.
She knew what was going to happen to her, but to them? They weren't strong like she was. They wouldn't be able to take the beatings like she could. She's been doing this since she was seven.
"What do you mean?" Bucky asks.
Then a guard drags his beating stick across the cell bars. Elizabeth quickly turns around and she watches the guard walk up to their cell. Stepping back from the door, she goes closer into Bucky's arms. Knowing that she's scared, he pulls her closer to his body and wraps his arms around her.
Then the guard stops in front of their cell. Painted on his face is a wicked smile.
"Now, what's a pretty girl like you doing here?" He asks, his German accent sticking out like a sore thumb.
Elizabeth doesn't respond and just grips harder onto Bucky's shirt.
"You know, I've heard stories about a girl. Long, dark, silky, brown, eyes that could kill. Strong as an ox and a punch like you wouldn't believe. Apparently, she worked for Hydra."
He knew, he knew exactly who she was and Elizabeth knew that. Shuffling her feet back, the guard continues and stare right at her. Neither one of them break eye contact.
"Some say that she was the deadliest weapon to live. And some say that she was the greatest soldier to ever live."
The men around her, weren't sure what the soldier was getting at, but they where confused and wanted to know what he was talking about.
However, they respected this woman, meaning they won't push. She had saved their lives countless times, they owe it to her."Hey there Jackass. Why don't you back off. Don't you have soup to serve or something?" Dum Dum say, stepping in.
"Watch you mouth with me!" The soldier snaps. "I will kill you if you step out of line one more time," he warns.
"Fuck off!" Elizabeth snaps in German.
The guard smiles and is about to open the door. That is until another guard comes in.
"Hey! Red Skull will uns. Es ist ein Treffen," the man says in German.
Elizabeth understanding this, knows that red skull is having a meeting. Probably about what to do with the soldiers that he has captive.
Elizabeth watches the guard leave, once he's gone she lets out a breath she wasn't aware that she was holding."What happened? What did he say?" Dum Dum asks.
"Red Skull requested a meeting," Elizabeth sighs.
"How do you-"
"I'm fluent in German," she says shortly.
"Who's Red Skull?" Bucky asks.
Elizabeth doesn't answer though, to afraid to tell them who his really is, who she really is.
"Liz, who's Red Skull?" Bucky reiterates.
Still facing away from them, she tells them, "He's worst then Hitler. This wasn't a Nazi raid. It was a Hydra raid."
She lets out a sigh and pushes down the lump in her throat once more. She turns around to face them.
"He's a very, very bad man. He wants total control. He's only using Hitler to get hat he wants," she explains.
Taking a step to her, Bucky asks, "How do you know this?"
Elizabeth lets out a sigh and slides down the metal bars. She sits there for a moment and picks at her callused hands. She just shakes her head in response. For once in her life, she was happy. She likes her team, she got along with them. She even started to see them as her family.
But Bucky? She loved Bucky as much as she hated to admit it. She didn't want to lose the only people she cared for. Bucky walks up to her and kneels down. He takes her hands and looks her in the eyes.
"How do you know this Liz?" He asks again.
She had to tell them, she knew that but she couldn't.
"Because, they killed my parents," she lies.
Bucky looks at her with pity.
"I'm sorry," he says.
Elizabeth didn't care about her parents, she hated them. She was glad that they where dead as much as she hated to admit it.
The next three days, guards would transition every three hours. As the men where trying to figure out ways to get out, Elizabeth was planing out different attacks for different guards. She would analyze them, she would find their weaknesses and use the against them. Very little food was given to them, each time she would give her rations to her team.
One the fourth day though, the guards stated to line them up. Starting at the cell at the other end of Elizabeths, and ending with hers. She was the last person out of the cell. They all stood in a line, there backs facing the right wall. A general is walking up and down the isles. Then he gets to Elizabeth.
He looks down to her 5'7 figure, and she looks up to his 6'4 figure. He has a sharp jawline and bright hazel eyes. He has blond hair with a receding hairline.
"A woman?" He asks shocked. Followed by a laugh. "So, your the girl that has been causing all of this trouble huh? You seem quite easy to break," he says.
Staying still and her eyes forward, she doesn't answer. She doesn't even bat an eyelash. Little did she know though, of what was to come.
