Once Steve catches up to Elizabeths fast steps, he asks her, "Did you kill him?"

But she just shakes her head no. Once they finally get back to the rest of the team, everyone asks where the two ran off to.

"Where'd you go Cap?" Dugan asks.

"I followed her," Steve simply says.

Now everyone's attention turns to her. She just shrugs her shoulders and keeps walking. Bucky can tell that she's starting to shut down, and with all the stuff that has happened over the past seven/eight months, he's worried for her. So, Bucky sprints up to her.

  "What happened?" He asks.

"There was a soldier watching us," she says in a hushed tone.

None of the team would be able to hear her and she made sure that Steve wouldn't either.

"He killed himself. Cyanide pill," she adds.

"Why are you talking so quite?" Bucky asks.

Elizabeth sighs and closes her eyes. "No one knows I'm Russian, and I can't just go back to talking American," she states.

Nodding, Bucky sighs, "after what you've done for all the guys, I'm sure they'd vouch for you."

Nodding, the two just keep on walking.

After about two more days of walking, the camp finally comes into sight. As their walking into the camp, Steve and Bucky are in the middle. Next to Bucky is Elizabeth, and next to her is Dugan. And next to Steve is Jacque, and some other guy. As the group of soldiers entire into the camp everyone stares at them with awe. They where supposed to be dead.

Then everyone start clapping and cheering for them. Steve walks up to a girl. She's beautiful with gorges brown eyes and brunet hair that is pinned back to perfection. She's wearing a green suit dress, and is wearing bright red lipstick. She can hear the girl say something in an English accent.

"I couldn't call my ride," Steve says, holding up a broken devise.

"Let's hear it for Captain America!" Bucky shouts.

Immediately, everyone starts clapping and cheering. Not Elizabeth though. Instead she wonders away. Bucky see's this out of the corner of his eye. He sighs to himself and chases after her.

He darts towards her as she goes to turn the corner. But as she does so, she's in no line of sight. So thinking that she just needs space, he walks away and back to his best friend.

Everyone decided to go to the bar for a drink, and to celebrate. They where alive with very few losses. Bucky and Steve are sharing a drink together at the bar. Peggy walks in, stealing Steve attention from Bucky. The two go off and have a talk. Meanwhile, Elizabeth walks in to the pub.

She takes a seat next to Bucky. Seeing that she hasn't changed out of her cloths through, this worries Bucky.

  "Whiskey," Elizabeth orders.

Shaking his head Bucky chuckles to himself he now knew why she would drink heavily.

  "Are you ok?" He asks.

  "Fine," she replies shortly.

"Did you end up getting checked out?" He asks.

  "I don't need it."

Bucky looks at her a little closer now, he realizes that she has been crying. Her cheeks are red and her eyes are blood shot red. Then, that's when he notices the blood on her sleeves.

  "What happened?" He asks.

He grabs her arm as gently as he could and lifts up the sleeve. But to his surprise, there was nothing, only a small white bumps.

"I'm fine," she sigh.

The bartender places the whiskey in front of her, and she takes her arm back and rolls the sleeve down. With one swing, she gets down the whiskey. Bucky watches as Elizabeth gets up from the stool she was sitting on, and he follows her out of the pub.

Once their outside he get's in front of her to stop her.

"Liz, please talk to me," James pleads.

Sighing , she shakes her head. She turns around to face him and walks up to him.

"It's over Barnes. You and me, we will never be a thing," Elizabeth says in a venomous voice.

"Liz, what do you mean?" Bucky asks, hurt by her words.

"Let me put it in a way an American can under stand. Fuck off asshole."

She turns around and walks away. As she's walking with her back turned to the man that she loves, a tear rolls down her face. What did he do to deserve this? Did he say something? Did he do something? Bucky had no clue, so he decided to go back into the pub. Drink after drink, he just couldn't get drunk.

Eventually though, Bucky goes to sleep. Elizabeth however, she couldn't sleep. So instead, she found a tree and sat there all night crying. She didn't want to say those things to Bucky, but she didn't want him to get hurt again because of her. It was her fault that her team had been captured. And Schmitt was right.

She knew that Red Skull was right. Hydra is never going to stop looking for her, Hydra is always going to win. Eventually though, she was going to have to work with him, she was going to have to help him. She had over heard Steve talking about a team he was going to form. He was going to call it the Howling Commandos.

Come morning, Elizabeth makes her way down to a meeting with Steve Rogers, his general, and two other people. Peggy Carter and a man named Howard Stark. As she makes her way to the building, she spots Bucky. Him and a few other guys are training together. Quickly turning away she continues to the meeting.

"Here, here, and here," Steve says pointing to a map.

Elizabeth, working for them realizes that he got one wrong and missed three. So helping out, she grabbed one of the pieces and placed it on the correct coronets. She fixes the one Steve had gotten wrong and then adds the other two.

"These are the other ones," she finally speaks, hiding her Russian once more.

  "She finally speaks!" Howard exclaims.

Immediately she shoots him a death ending stare.

"I'll be setting up a team for you," the general says.

"With all due respect sir, I'm already putting on together," Steve says.

Knowing that her work here is done, Elizabeth walks away and sighs. Steve however, chances after her.

  "Hey wait!" He yells out.

Rolling her eyes, she turns around to face the tall blond man.

"Your name is Elizabeth, right?" He asks.

  She doesn't respond though.

"I've heard a lot about you. Bucky really seems to have taken a liking into you. I've never seen him like this with any other girl."

This takes her back. She did love him, no matter how much she hated to admit it, but she didn't want him to get hurt again because of her. Elizabeth takes a deep breath and sighs.

"Tell him if he really loves me then he'd stay away of he knew what was good for him."

With that being said, Elizabeth turns around and leaves. Leaving Steve there speechless. Think back to the letters, he did say that she had a cold heart, but that didn't seem right.
