"We'll be there in about a day. We have to take back roads so we don't get caught. This man will take you to Scotland. You will lay low there for about a month. Go to the post office and ask if theres a letter there from Margret Prynne. On it will be the next location. The same guy will come and take you there. He's a well trusted friend of mine. While you're over there, I'll through them off your trail," Elizabeth explains.

"Wait, you're not coming?" Asks Bucky.

The two are in a car, making their way to PA. Only probably is that they have to go the opposition way since S.H.I.E.L.D. and Hydra are searching the boarders. They are going to see a friend of Elizabeths, someone who will help with transportation.

"I can't, James," Elizabeth says, remorse in her voice. "If I go they'll suspect that I'm helping you and they'll find you. Not only that but I need to get rid of Hydra."

The car goes silent. Bucky had been hiding in her apartment for the past four days. In those days, Elizabeth had been going through every scenario, finding the best rout to take with the situation and driving wise. The best thing to do was to get him out of the country. Get him away from everything. She didn't want to leave him in fear he would be taken again or the government would get him. She didn't want to loose him, but it had to be done.

Once they finally reach their destination, the two say their goodbye's and Elizabeth is back off to the avengers tower. The way back though, she can't help but burst down into tears. She lost him once more. She couldn't believe that she let him go.

After about six months of meetings with the government about her crimes at Hydra and taking down Hydra bases either solo or with the team, she's still keeping Bucky on the move. Although she wouldn't admit it, she was starting to get worn out. All of these problems that she had to fix raced through her head.

Steve moved into the Avenger's tower, along with Natasha, Tony, and Bruce. Elizabeth stayed at her same apartment and would go to the tower almost everyday. But she wasn't willing to leave. If Bucky did come back, he wold come here. Not only that but she had everything she needed in here. She knew the place. Not only that but Elizabeth isn't one known for change.

So, as her, Steve, Natasha, and Sam are sitting in a conference room, talking about how to find Bucky, she helps throw them off. She hates that she couldn't tell Steve. She hates that she can't tell him where his best friend is, but this was the reality.

"Elizabeth!" Steve says, bringing her out of her thoughts. "You with us?" He asks.

"Yeah," she sighs, rubbing her eyes.

"You look tired. Everything ok?" He asks.

"Peachy," she says through her teeth.

The three all look at each other with looks of concern.

"Will you all stop looking at each other like that? I'm fine. Lets just stop Hydra and take them down for good. There's a base in Russia. A man named Strucker. He has the scepter. I say we go to that facility with your team and take care of that Hydra base."

"That's a big facility though," Natasha stares.

"You guys have a Hulk and a literal god. I think we can handle it," says Elizabeth.

"I'll bring it up to Tony," Steve says.

"Good. Get it done," Elizabeth says as she gets up and leaves.

The three of them all look at each other.

"What's up with her?" Asks Sam.

"I don't know," Natasha states. "It's not just stress. Has she read her file on her time with Hydra? The time she missed?" Asks Natasha.

"I'm not sure. Hydra tends to be a sensitive subject with her," says Steve.

"Well if she hasn't read it then I don't know what's making her this way."

"Have you guys ever thought that it could be because she is trying to find her essentially husband that she's tried to kill multiple times?" Asks Sam.

"I mean, I want to get to Bucky just as much as she does," says Steve.

"No, not like her. Bucky was the only person who gave her a chance. Bucky kept her alive when they were first taken. She didn't have anyone until Bucky came along. Then, they got taken again and she supposedly let him die so she wanted to get revenge. On top of that, half her memories are false and she refuses to read what kind of things she was forced to do against her will. She needs him back because that's her rock. The only person who has ever truly cared for her," explains Sam.

"I want him back too," Steve says.

"You do, but you were also surrounded by people who loved you. She never had that. Her father tried to kill her and all her family members left her with her abusive father. Then, she was taken into another abusive place only to be used. Her entire life has been hurt, war, and abuse until Bucky came along and broke that chain. He showed her what love was. You already knew what that was."

The moment the avengers step foot on the snow, a battle breaks out immediately. The goal was to get the scepter and take down the base. And, they were quite successful. The ride back though, Elizabeth's demeanor was completely different, and Steve couldn't figure out why.
