It's now the end of the war. Captain America sacrificed himself for the good of man kind. Red Skull is gone and now the Howling Commandos sit at a pub, each one with a bear in their hands and three empty seats. They raise their glasses and drink the night away.

However, back in Russia is an alive but not well Elizabeth and Bucky. It's been over four months since the fall. Bucky's arm is wrapped in bandages, with only a nub. While Elizabeth has her flesh legs fully back and stronger than ever.

The two are curled together in their cell. The room is small and empty. A very small window sits high against the wall and a big heavy metal door keeps the two locked in. The two are fighting sleep and trying to stay warm.

"He'll come. He'll come like he did before," Bucky shivers.

Elizabeth doesn't respond. She doesn't want to kill his hope. She knows though that no one is coming to save them. She knows that everyone thinks that they're dead.

They have been training the two. Elizabeth has been complying more than Bucky. Her and Perscov made a deal. She does what they ask and they don't kill Bucky. Perscov is the knew leader of Hydra. So, they have been retraining her, breaking her down. Elizabeth has excepted that this is the reality, but Bucky hasn't.

"We'll get out of here," he says once more.

Elizabeth just closes her eyes and lets out a sigh. Perscov told her that that year and however many months was all just a dream. And she's starting to believe it. She knows too that they said something similar to Bucky.

Suddenly the door opens and the two soldiers look over to see Perscov standing in the doorway. His hands are placed behind his back and his face is bland.

"Stand up, Widow. We are going," he demands.

Letting out a sigh, Elizabeth stands up and follows him out of the room and down the halls. As they're walking, they end up stopping in front of a plane. Elizabeth looks over to Perscov with a look of confusion.

"Get in. We're leaving," he says.

"What about Bucky? What about our deal?" She asks.

"The deal is we don't kill him or push him to death. We, are, leaving," he says through his teeth.

The two hop into the plane and are quick to taking off. They end up flying to another Hydra physicality in Germany. There, they continue her training along with sending her out for a few missions.

After about three years of being there, she made sure to keep tabs on Bucky's health. They haven't wiped her like they used to. They knew that wouldn't work on her, so, they tried moving her memories around and changing her view on things. It had worked a little but not like they'd hoped. But Elizabeth didn't let them know that.

Elizabeths hair is now longer than before, coming down well past her butt. She always had to keep it in various braids and what not. As she's walking down one of the halls, a voice comes over the radio.

"Widow repeat to room 45, again, Widow repeat to room 45," the voice commands.

So, quickly making her way down, she opens the door and see's Perscov standing in the middle of the room. She steps in and see's that t's an interrogation room. There are cameras everywhere and a one way mirror.

"Hello there, Widow. I have some news," Perscov says.

She shoots him a confused looks.

"Your little boy friend, is no longer with us," he says with pity in his voice.

"What?" She asks, taking a step up to him. "What did you say?"

"See for yourself," he says.

Then, on the wall opposite of the one way mirror, a video starts playing. Bucky is on the ground, covered in blood. In between his eyes is a bullet hole, and a man with a metal arm hovering over him. Elizabeths eyes go wide and her mouth is gaped. Perscov places a hand on her shoulder.

"One of the trainings went wrong and he was killed. The Winter Soldier had killed him," he explains.

Elizabeth quickly whips her head around to face him. She then quickly quicks in the back of his leg, making him fall. She catches him and in one motion, she snaps his neck. Alarms immediately start blaring and soldiers rush in, but they are no match for Elizabeth. She kills every soldier, her body going into auto pilot and over flowing with adrenaline.

She makes sure not to leave a single man or woman alive in that building. After brutally killing everyone, she walks away and runs into the nearby forest, covered head to toe in blood. After running for some time she drops to her hands and knees and bursts out into tears. Morning over her love who is now gone.

Perscov succeeded in making her believe that Bucky is dead, but his plan had failed. He wanted her to believe that he had died and that would break her. Break her it did, but it also turned her bitter and angry. Now, she is free but with no purse.
