27: brand new mission?

Katarina's POV

I walked in the room to find Adriano and the guys talking about the new mission they were posed with

Basically one of the boys had to go undercover and pretend one of them has opened a new mafia branch and adriano was the one who had to go apparently

So since I just came from being pregnant Russo and Lorenzo said they would go and stay within the rules

So Russo changed his name to Antonio and Lorenzo to VINCENZO and we made their identity documents

It's so weird how people are so different

I looked at how things changed so quick and adriano was always there every step of the way

"You remember what you said about arranged marriages Mr Ferrari?" I asked and he chuckled "something bout learning about each other and plenty of time to fall in love?"he asked and I nodded

"Yeah.. I just thought it was all bullshit until I married you" I bit my lip and he groaned "my game has always been good "he said and I rolled my eyes

This guy had some strong confidence

"Do you think Lorenzo will ever fall in love?" I asked and he chuckled

"No... but Maybe he will.. the future isn't set in stone Mrs Ferrari"he said and I giggled seeing his other side... the philosophical side

"So... VINCENZO Rossi still acts like Lorenzo Ferrari just a bit scarier" I said and he chuckled

"How do you think trusting him with the branch will work out?" Adriano asked and I smiled

"We'll see" i said and he chuckled yanking me up to him

"Well no one can be better than my queen... my mafia queen"he said and I smiled softly

"You just flattering me today ain't you?"I asked and he chuckled

I'm just thinking about what my life was like knowing I almost lost you two weeks ago"he said and I giggled

"Don't be a crazy mafia king... the mafia queen is stronger than that and you ain't getting rid of me anytime soon"I said and he groaned

He smacked my ass and I hummed in response and he chuckled

"You're a crazy one for making me think so"I said and he chuckled

"He said he wants to stay with us forever... but I made sure I told him that he needs to do this for his father and he said yes" he smiled softly and I looked aside

"Carlos and them went mad without people right?" I asked and he smiled softly

"Yeah... everything has changed a lot" he said and I smiled softly
