"Buck. Bucky wake up." Steve prodded him until he grunted back. "You're arm is freezing."

Bucky grunted again and moved it on top of the blanket. Realising Steve was the only lump beside him, he shot up. "Where's Y/N?

"Mx Y/N is on the roof." Friday replied before Steve could start frantically searching. Instead, he sprinted out and up the stairs without getting dressed. Bucky, hot on his tail, was still in his pajamas too.

Snow had fallen overnight, completely covering the roof. The door slammed against the wall. A plume of snow was sent up in front of them. A few flakes stuck to Steve's hair, but the majority managed to slip and melt under Bucky's shirt. However, it wasn't long before a snowball hit Steve on the head and he experienced that same cold. He let out a high pitched gasp, causing laughter to bellow out from behind them. Until it came to an abrupt stop.

Y/N ran up to them both, dropping their ammunition on the way. "What are you two doing out here without a coat? You haven't even gotten dressed yet!"

"Y/N, we didn't know where you were." Steve responded in an equally stressed tone.

"You could have at least put some shoes on."

Bucky jumped in, "We're fine, Y/N. We've got-"

"Super soldier serum won't prevent chilblains. Go and get dressed. Go!" They pushed the two back inside and slammed the door shut for good measure.

The two men trudged back downstairs, feeling sheepish. Not saying a word, they put on their warmest clothes, knowing Y/N would make them if they didn't. As they once again left their room, Bucky swiped Steve's sunglasses off the dresser and hid them in his pocket. Making it back outside, they found Y/N bent over a pile of snow.

"Come on, I need your big strong muscles to help me lift these."

Steve nudged Bucky, silently chiding him for staring for too long (even though they were all in a long term relationship). Together they rolled and moved four massive snowballs, each smaller than the last. Once the last was on the pile, Y/N retrieved various items of clothing, clearly stolen from the other avengers. The beanie Tony didn't take off for a month, Thor's gloves that were a size too small and the scarf Bruce was unfortunately wearing the last time he hulked out. Sticking in the two largest wooden spoons and a couple of pebbles, their masterpiece was complete. Standing at a head smaller than the super soldiers, there was no way Y/N would have finished it on their own.

"It's missing something." Bucky stepped forwards and pushed the glasses into its face. "Perfect." He joined Y/N in admiring their snowman. At least he tried to, because a second later a snowball was launched at his head.
