Flashback
Five hundred years ago, after Morax accepted Y/n's request to let her investigate the Chasm, things turned a different turn. After those endless fights with the Abyss and the miasma consuming her, she was in the very point of losing her sanity.
"Furina..."
Y/n fought so many battles in the Abyss without rest in between. The power of the dark creatures slowly devoured her powers as she try to fight back the endless madness that consumed her from within.
"Rex Lapis, forgive me..."
Y/n muttered as the miasma had completely consumed her, taking hold and feeding off her negative emotions as it dragged her towards insanity.
Y/n's karmic dept slowly consumed her entire being, causing her to feel uncontrollable hatred and violence which led her to destroy everything in her path, friend and foe alike.
No one could stop what she have become. Y/n had become what she despised the most— the thing that she feared the most. With the endless power it gave her body, she was practically destroying everything in her sight without even realizing it.
Once the bloodlust consumed her, Y/n lost all track of time and memory. After all, it was no longer her who was in control. Her memories faded completely and a complete darkness blanked her mind.
For quite a significant amount of time, she was only driven by her hatred and violence, no longer knowing what she was doing. All that mattered to her was the darkness that controlled her and the destruction it created.
After such a long period of time with no restraint of her emotions, her mask had been stained from the blood that was constantly dripping down from it, and the once cleaned robes she wore were now all red and stained with both hers and others' blood.
Y/n was in the deepest part of the Chasm and after killing the 'monster' that she sees, an electro projectile suddenly appeared out of nowhere but she dodged it by sliding her body to the side.
As she managed to escape from getting hit by the projectile, her eyes glanced towards what sent the projectile in the first place and saw a purple figure in the shadows.
There, Y/n see a different 'monster', but in reality, it was Bosacius. He, too, seemed consumed by the karmic dept as well, but he was still able to maintain his sanity that he didn't even attack the Millelith as he only forgots who he was, though Y/n's presence felt somewhat familiar to him so he asked her a question.
"You're presence seems familiar, are you one of my brothers and sisters that the Millelith told me about?" He asked, although Y/n only infused her polearm with cryo before lunging towards him.
In Y/n's eyes, her fellow yaksha was nothing more but an obstacle. However, Bosacius was trying to avoid a fight at all cost— and just because he wanted to avoid the fight didn't mean he won't defend himself from her as he raised his own polearm to block Y/n's attack.
He still held the determination to not hurt Y/n and anyone else.
"Hmm, you seemed to be different of what the Millelith people told me about my brothers and sisters. Still, I trust my judgement of restraining myself of hurting you." Bosacius said then laughs at himself even in the midst of chaos surrounding him.
Y/n didn't appreciate his calm and arrogant attitude as it made her angry even more. She lunged forward once again trying to pierce him with her polearm with an intention of freezing him in place.
However, this time when she tried to hit him, he managed to side step and avoided getting hit by it. He still had all the chance to counter attack or attack back, but he didn't as he was still restraining himself from acting too hastily like Y/n did just now.
