At night time, I was walking around the Court of Fontaine as my gaze was fixed on some sweets at a food store, until...

"Is it necessary to be out this late just to buy some of your cravings?"

A sudden sound of a voice caused me to look up. I looked at the sky to see who was speaking and I was slightly surprised to see a familiar figure above me. It was the figure of Y/n, who was sitting on top of a building, her unique features standing out in the moonlight as her hair was dancing around in the wind. My eyes then widened in my surprise.

"Well?" Y/n tilted her head a little.

"...."

I was stunned to silence due my encounter with her. I didn't expect to see her at this hour of the night and thought that our last meeting was our last interaction. My facial expression was showing some signs of nervousness with mixed emotions.

"I... didn't expect you to be here." I finally replied as I thought about getting a closer look to see just what Y/n was doing here.

"You didn't expect me to be here..? Why is that?" She asked again.

"It's because..."

I paused for a moment as I looked at her and thought about my response carefully.

I eventually took a deep breath before continuing my sentence.

"I thought that our meeting earlier was our last. That I wouldn't see you here again, yet here you are at this time of night." I replied as I was now looking up directly at Y/n with a serious, yet gentle expression.

"Well, during night time is the only time where I can wander around this bustling city due to my karma, but I wouldn't— after all, it happens to be that the moon is beautiful tonight." Y/n states.

I nodded and looked at Y/n beneath the moonlight.

"It is... It is the most beautiful thing under this night." I replied as I couldn't take my eyes away from her.

I couldn't help but admire this charming sight of Y/n.

"Although in comparison to the beauty of your face, the moon doesn't stand a chance." I replied with a smile.

I had always respected Y/n's beauty since the time when I was still pretending to be the Hydro Archon, I had never missed the opportunity to admire her appearance.

But I now had to remind myself that I had to be more careful when speaking and making comments about her, as this was our current relationship, and not who we are before.

"...." Y/n could only stay silent as I complimented her.

I could see that my comment caught her by surprise though I continued looking at her with my same smile, only to then realize the silence became longer between us. I then tried to break the silence with another comment.

"You're still as unpredictable as ever, even if the memories of your past life is gone, it's still a fact that you are still unpredictable. I should know, I've seen you change a lot in the past, but for this moment... I couldn't expect you would turn silent on me."

"...Sorry..."

..?

Y/n apologies before looking at the city from her view.

"Even if I managed to remember the rest of my memory, I sense that none of it could truly satisfy me. The first one that I gained was the eldest yaksha sacrificing himself just to get me out of the depths of the Chasm and the second one was followed to where I seen most of my fellow yakshas' demise."
