A week later she got a call from Mr. Park. "The master asks you to visit tomorrow at 10 a.m. Mr. Lee will meet you downstairs. Be on time." She was a little irritated. What did the old man want from her? She was also a little nervous. She told Jimin about it, but he couldn't give her any helpful information. In her opinion, Suga should not know about the meeting at first experienced. She arrived at the residence early the next morning and entered the large entrance hall. Mr. Lee arrived a few minutes later. "Good morning, Ms. Choi. Please follow me, the master is waiting for you." She nodded and followed Mr. Lee into the master's private rooms. There Mr. Lee knocked on a double door and opened it immediately. He bowed and said, "Master, Ms. Choi is here." "Let her come in," Master's deep grumbling voice was heard. She entered the room, which resembled a luxuriously furnished living room. The master sat in an armchair with a blanket over his knees. She bowed deeply. "Master Min, you wanted to see me." "Take a seat," he said and pointed to a chair diagonally opposite him. She bowed again and took a seat. Her slight nervousness was definitely noticeable. She kept her eyes down; she didn't dare look him in the eyes at that moment. Damn, why did she suddenly feel guilty? "Miss Choi..." She jumped a little when he spoke to her. "Yes, Master Min." "How long have you been with us now?" "Almost two years, Master." "I heard that you have settled well into our family. Do you remember what one of the rules I told you was?" She winced, "Yes, Master. I should stay away from your son." "You also realize that I cannot, under any circumstances, tolerate my instructions being ignored?" Guiltily, she answered quietly: "Yes, I realize that. Forgive me, but..." He raised his hand and she fell silent immediately. "I don't want an explanation or an apology from you. In the end, apart from ignoring this instruction, you did exactly what I brought you in for. You have saved the lives of my son and other family members more than once with your medical skills. As I have been told, it is ultimately thanks to your skill that an important mission was successfully completed." He paused and an uncomfortable silence filled the room. "My son made it clear to me the last time we met that he loves you  and he will not give you up under any circumstances. But I absolutely cannot accept being blackmailed. Not even by my son." "I'm sorry, I didn't mean that," Hee-Jin replied quietly. "But I love your son and i am happy here in this family." "I tried to make it clear to my son, for good reason, that a woman at his side is not compatible with his future leadership tasks. They all too easily become a target and a means of pressure for the opponent. That weakens our position and we can't afford weakness in our world," said Mr. Min, slightly bitterly. She knew the background of this bitterness, but she didn't want to leave it as general as that. She took advantage of his short pause to think about. Finally she said: "Dear Master, I can understand your concerns and that may be fundamentally right. But in the case where Suga and I are concerned, you are wrong. I love your son and know what a deep wound the loss of his Mother also left with him. I will do everything in my power to prevent him from ever having to suffer such pain again. Suga is also trying to do better than you did back then by having me trained in self-defense and martial arts. I also have one successfully completed shooting training. He has taken me with him several times and introduced me to many people. I don't feel defenseless at all and I'm well aware of the dangers. But because of my brothers, I'm not alone either, because we look out for each other, as you do in a family." She stopped in her speech, because she only now noticed the intense look at her that she had already knew from Suga, but this time she couldn't read him. Had she angered him and turned him against her? Was he angry at her presumption? She gathered her courage and held that gaze. A vacuum of silence arose again. Suddenly his changed Facial expression. He looked at the window and stared out thoughtfully and introspectively. Finally, he sucked in a breath and turned back to her. "Well then, there are enough voices in the clan who are of the opinion that you are good for my son and also be good for the clan and definitely have a positiv influence. Prove it to me! Facts and actions count for me! Prove to me that I'm actually wrong with my opinion." "Master, I will!" she replied, relieved. "You can go then, Miss Choi." She was almost out the door when she heard the master's voice behind her again. In an unusually gentle, quiet tone she heard him say: "Miss Choi, take care of yourself and my son, he's all I have left." She turned around again and nodded. Then she walked thoughtfully back to the entrance hall. When she got there, Suga ran towards her, visibly upset. "You were with my father? What did the old man want from you? No matter what he said, I love you and I will never give up on you under any circumstances. He can completely forget about that!" "Stop!" she interrupted him and put her hand over his mouth. She looked at him lovingly. "Everything is fine. Nobody has to give up anything here. I love you." Then she kissed Suga, who looked a little confused, tenderly on the mouth. "But what the hell..."  "Shush!" she interrupted him again and kissed him again. "Just trust me! Your father loves you, even if he can't admit it."
