Jimin was worried because he had heard that Jong-Hi had not been seen with the street gang for a while. He feared that something might have happened to her and so he urged them to find the gang's base. BoGum, who was well acquainted with the milieu himself, was finally able to give Jimin an address. He immediately made his way to the old warehouse in an industrial estate. He waited until the rest of the gang members went on their nightly raids again. Once the coast was clear, he entered the warehouse through an unsecured side entrance. He looked around carefully and searched the warehouse and its side rooms. One of the rooms was locked. He listened, but at first heard nothing from the room. Then he knocked and asked cautiously: "Jong-Hi, are you there? It's me, Jimin." He listened again and felt as if he heard soft whimpering and sobbing. He rattled the door excitedly. "Don't be afraid, I'll get you out," he said and looked for something to break down the door. After a short search, he found an iron bar with which he could break the padlock. When he finally opened the door, he couldn't see anything at first because it was quite dark in the room. Then he could make out a shadow in the glow of the incoming light at the far corner. "Jong-Hi?" He heard that desperate sobbing again. He rushed to her, knelt down in front of her and lovingly put his arm on her shoulder. "I'll get you out of here. Don't be afraid, everything will be all right." She shook her head, barely visible. He tried to lift her head, but she vigorously slapped his hand away. "Don't look at me!" she said desperately through her tears. He took her carefully in his arms and pulled her to him. "From now on, I'll look after you and no one will ever hurt you again." After a moment's hesitation, she leaned her head against his shoulder and buried her face in his neck. But finally he said, "We have to get out of here before the others come back. Can you get up?" He tried to pull her up carefully. "Are you in pain?" he asked anxiously. But she shook her head and gritted her teeth. Supported by Jimin, she left the warehouse. When they were far enough away, he stopped. Only now did he see how she had been mauled. Her lip was split and crusted with blood, her left eye was blue and swollen, as was her left cheek.
Horrified and angry, he asked: "Who did this to you?" She fell silent and bowed her head again. He took her to his car and brought her to his apartment in the villa. There he laid her in his bed and gave her a glass of water to drink. He lovingly stroked her tangled hair and said, smiling softly: "You don't need to be afraid anymore, you're safe here. You're under my personal protection and that of the Bangtan Dragons. I'll be right back, I'll get my little sister, who's a good doctor." But she held him by the arm. "Please don't go! Don't leave me alone," she begged him quietly. He nodded and picked up his phone. "Hi, this is Jimin. I found her, but she's been beaten up. I'd like you to take a look at her injuries. Can you come over to my apartment, please? Yes, thank you. See you soon." Then he looked at Jong-Hi again and gently squeezed her hand. "I'll just go and open the door, I'll be right back." Then he hurried to the door and let Hee-Jin in. Hee-Jin immediately saw how worried Jimin was. "What happened?" she asked. "I found her locked in a dark room. They must have beaten her up badly from the look on her face. Those bastards!" She saw how angry Jimin was and usually a lot had to happen to get Jimin in a rage. Jimin led Hee-Jin into his bedroom and briefly introduced Jong-Hi to Hee-Jin. Hee-Jin sat down next to Jong-Hi on the bed and took her hand affectionately at first. "Don't worry, I won't hurt you. I just want to examine you. I know how you feel because I've been beaten up like that too." She looked at Jong-Hi comfortingly. "In order for me to examine you better, I'd have to take off your shirt and pants." Jong-Hi wrapped her arms protectively around her body and shook her head vigorously. "Don't be afraid. I'll be very careful." But Jong-Hi still refused and whispered something with a quick glance in Jimin's direction. Hee-Jin nodded and turned to Jimin. "Jimin can you please leave us alone, I'd like to examine Jong-Hi by myself." When Jimin started to protest, she looked at him urgently and pointed towards the door. "Please go! I'll look after her." Reluctantly, he left the room and closed the door behind him. After examining Jong-Hi thoroughly, she gave her something for the pain, antibiotics and a sedative so that she was asleep when Hee-Jin finally returned to him after what seemed like an eternity from Jimin's point of view. Jimin jumped up when he saw Hee-Jin's serious and worried face. "What's wrong? How is she?" "Jimin sit down! I've given her a sedative injection. She's sleeping for now." She sat down on the sofa with Jimin and looked at him seriously. "Now tell me, what's wrong with her? What did they do to her?" Jimin asked impatiently. Hee-Jin hesitated briefly, then said, "She's been beaten and abused for a long time. In addition to the fresh bruises and wounds, I've also seen older wounds and bruises that have already healed. I suspect that she has at least one broken rib. So it's better if we take her to the medical station later so I can x-ray her." Jimin nodded. "Those wretched pigs! How can they do such a thing to a woman?" He had jumped up and was running around the room. When he saw Hee-Jin's expression, he had the feeling that she was hiding something from him. He looked at her and asked, "Was there anything else? Are you hiding something from me?" Hee-Jin looked to the side with a tortured expression. She just said quietly, "You should be very careful with her, she has experienced a lot of suffering." "What do you mean by that? Now tell me," he demanded excitedly. "The bruises and chafing marks on her wrists made me wonder. Then I examined another part of the body and my suspicion was unfortunately confirmed in the worst possible way." Jimin made a horrified face. "Do you mean to say that she was ra..... by them?" "Yes, unfortunately....what I could see...... quite brutal... and probably several times. I won't be able to tell you more about it until tomorrow, when I've shown the results of the examination to a gynecologist." He looked at Hee-Jin in complete horror. "No! What a fucking asshole! I'll rip the pig's balls off and stuff them in his mouth." Hee-Jin had never seen Jimin so furious. It was only with great effort that she was able to prevent Jimin from simply storming off in his anger. In the end, with great persuasion, she was able to make him understand that in many ways a private campaign of revenge would be disadvantageous and that this was now a matter for the clan. She called Suga, briefly explained the situation and then asked him to come over directly to clarify what to do next.
