Hee-Jin stood in front of Suga with his hands on his hips. "You should definitely talk to your father, please. Definitely before the wedding." Suga jumped up annoyed and went to the window. She knew that he had consciously avoided this clarifying conversation so far. Now she put the knife on his chest, so to speak, and he reacted like a cornered animal. He sucked in his breath loudly and nervously ran his hands through his hair. Finally he turned to her and looked at her with a pained look. "You're basically right. But it's not that simple. He and I are just too different." She stood in front of him, with a smile she brushed an unruly strand of hair from his face and gave him a tender kiss. "At least give each other a chance to reconcile. I just want your father to be there for our wedding; after all, I owe him a lot. Please Suga, at least do it for my love." She looked at him pleadingly, she knew full well that in the end he wouldn't be able to refuse her wish. He sighed: "I can't promise anything, but I'll try." She gratefully gave him a kiss which he immediately returned. Then he took his jacket, said, "I'll get in touch with you," and left.
A few days later in the afternoon, she had just gotten dressed again after a relaxing bath when her doorbell rang. A little surprised, she opened it and saw Mr. Park standing in front of her. He made a serious face. "Did something happen?" she asked worriedly. He shook his head. "No, but Suga asked me to pick you up and take you to the residence. Suga had asked the master for a conversation, which is taking place today. He said you should be ready, he wanted to introduce his fiancée to his father." "Ok," she answered slightly nervously and examined herself in the mirror. "Do you think I look appropriate for this meeting?" Mr. Park looked at her and nodded. A brief smile crossed his face. "All right, let's go." Mr. Park drove her to the residence and took her to a kind of waiting room next to the large reception room that she already knew. "You wait here until you are brought in. Allow for a longer wait, it may take some time." Mr. Park had said the last sentence with a slight sigh. Then he nodded to her and left her alone. She sat down in one of the comfortable armchairs and listened. She could hear some voices, but couldn't assign it to anyone. She had been waiting for a while and was engrossed in her cell phone when the voices suddenly got louder. Now she could identify Suga's voice, but didn't understand what it was about, only that there was a heated argument going on, which could be heard in the hallway and neighboring rooms. Hee-Jin had jumped up nervously and was shaking all over her body. She begged quietly: "Please Suga! Please, please get along." She paced back and forth nervously during the loud argument. Suddenly everything was quiet again and she stopped abruptly. She held her breath excitedly and listened. For a few long minutes she heard nothing at all. Eventually she could hear quiet voices again. Somewhat relieved, she sat back down and tried to distract herself with her cell phone. When the door suddenly opened, she jumped terribly. "Please follow me, Ms. Choi," said the man in the suit. She stood up and took a deep breath. Then she followed the man to the front door. She collected herself briefly while unconsciously nervously turning her engagement ring. Surprised, Suga opened the door himself and looked at her with an indefinable look. He held out his hand and smiled briefly. She gratefully reached for it and entered this room again for a long time, this time with respect. She always tried to stay half a step behind Suga , even though he pulled her close to him. She kept her head bowed, because she still felt guilty for not following the master's instructions. The old gentleman was standing at one of the large windows with his back to them. "Father, Hee-Jin is my fiancée and we are getting married. I don't care if you like it or not. I won't give up on her under any circumstances. Just because it was Hee-Jin's express wish to have her father-in-law at the wedding, I am here at all. So it's entirely up to you what happens next with the family and the Bangtan Dragons." Hee-Jin felt very uncomfortable at the thought of possibly being the reason for a split in the Bangtan Dragons. She gave Suga a worried sideways glance. Then Suga put his arm around her and pulled her closer to him. The master continued to stand at the window and was silent. Finally, he slowly turned around and looked at the two of them. "So I am presented with a fait accompli here and my express instructions have also been given ignored," he said bitterly. Hee-Jin ducked her head guiltily. Suga immediately replied defiantly: "In the end, Hee-Jin couldn't help it. Besides, you haven't had anything to say to me for a long time. As I said, accept it or leave it. But it doesn't change the fact that Hee-Jin and I will get married." Now the old man looked at Hee-Jin for a long time, who still kept her eyes down. "My son, go and let me talk to Ms. Choi alone ." He-Jin looked irritated at Suga, who shook his head. "No! I won't leave Hee-Jin alone with you. If you want something from her, then you can discuss it in my presence." Hee-Jin whispered: "Suga, please go, I can do this alone." But Suga made a defiant face and didn't move. The old gentleman rang the bell and Mr. Lee came in. "Escort my son, I want to speak to Ms. Choi alone." Hee-Jin looked at Suga pleadingly: "Please go!" It was only very reluctantly that he allowed himself to be escorted to the door. Finally she was alone with the master.
