Transitioning from tomorrow into today, everything moved at a pace faster than I was used to. I woke up at 7 am, and by 7:30 am, I was already in a limo heading to the WSFAM office. Remember those movie scenes where people, in a taxi or chauffeured car, gaze around the city in awe, trying to take in the sheer beauty of their surroundings? That was me. When the car pulled up in front of the WSFAM building, I was stunned by its visual magnificence—my mouth literally dropped.
The meeting was set in a conference room on the third floor. As I was escorted upstairs, I made sure to glance left and right down the hallways, hoping to spot some celebrities. There wasn't much to see until I entered the conference room. There, seated around the table, were the artists that I selected to perform at my showcase; The BlackRoots, Elle Betty, Classix, and NOLO. Rumor had it, DAT was also somewhere in the building. (Internally, I was jumping up and down but, I played it cool on the outside)
NOLO (Gospel band/mix of rap and blues)
Classix (EmCee)
Elle Betty (Christian Spoken word artist)
Black Roots (One of my all-favorite female gospel groups)
DAT: Doing All Things for God who Strengthens Me (Multifaceted Neo Soul Christian artist)
