I am an outspoken introvert. This might seem like a contradiction, but it's how I've navigated my world. As someone who values deep thought and introspection, I often find solace in solitude. However, when I am passionate about something, I can't help but speak out, even if it drains me. So when the day came for me to share my testimony, I was shaken. Public speaking is daunting for me, and sharing something so personal felt like exposing a vulnerable part of my soul. I prayed for days before, asking for the strength and courage to convey my story in a way that would resonate and inspire. I prayed for calmness, clarity, and the ability to overcome my nerves.

The moment I finished speaking, an overwhelming sense of relief washed over me. I felt a profound connection with the audience and a deep sense of accomplishment for having faced my fears. In the days that followed, I praised. I praised the support I received, the impact my words had on others, and the strength I found within myself. I praised the journey that brought me to that moment and the inner growth it inspired.

After sharing my testimony tonight, I was officially invited to become a "Chainbreaker" and join the movement to bring the gospel to the Nations through actions and prayer. The entire trip will span six months in total. Whew! I am officially a "Chainbreaker!" My journey begins with three months of discipleship training at a base in Durban, South Africa. Afterward, I will spend the final three months serving in various locations throughout South Africa.

I rarely fly, and this trip to South Africa will be only my second flight ever, lasting over 40 hours. I am stepping out in faith, trusting that God will protect me, especially as I embark on this journey to do His work. "Protect me, Lord! In Jesus' name, Amen!"

South Africa is a culturally diverse nation with a population of over 59 million people. It is often referred to as the "Rainbow Nation" due to its multiculturalism. The country is home to a wide range of ethnic groups, including Black Africans, Whites, Coloreds (mixed-race), and Asians, each with their languages, traditions, and customs. The official languages are English, Afrikaans, Zulu, Xhosa, and others.

In preparation for the trip, I took an Ancestry Ethnicity test and discovered that I am primarily Nigerian, Bantu, and Guianese. I'm thrilled to explore the continent of Africa, with South Africa being just the first stop on this mission trip. With only 19 days left until departure, my anxiety is quickly turning into excitement.

I've received all the recommended vaccines, but I was informed that there is no vaccine for malaria, as it is transmitted through mosquitoes. I'm packing only the essentials—no makeup or anything that might weigh me down. I plan to focus on being present and true to myself. T-minus 14 days.

T-minus 7 days. I've spent the past week fasting and praying, immersing myself in spiritual preparation. I've also been painting fabrics and sewing scarves as gifts for our hosts. The passion in my heart for Jesus is palpable and fragrant. Truly, there is no name sweeter than Jesus!

T-minus 24 hours. My children—Mai, King, Sage, and Eden—came to see me off. On my final night, we had a grand feast, an impromptu praise and worship session, and a heartfelt devotional. I'm entrusting my oldest daughter, Mai, with the responsibility of overseeing the business operations while I am gone.

Next stop...South Africa!
