Chain Breakers In The Room

Several months have passed and I have dedicated myself to introspection, profound conversations with God, in-depth study of scriptures, and the mending of relationships. A significant step was pardoning my husband's family for their interference in our marriage and their influence on him. It's important to note that my forgiveness doesn't equate to forgetting, and our relationship won't be the same as before. However, forgiving them was a decision made for the sake of my spiritual well-being.

Running my husband's business has been both a blessing and a curse. There were days when I didn't want to work or keep the business going. I wanted to give up on everything. But, God! Through the grace of God, we made it through. God spoke and said, "In year two you will be able to breathe in and out again without being on the edge of a complete and utter breakdown." Let me tell you how good God is. So far this year we have partnered with a multi-million dollar company that is well known in the world of air transportation services that will help us streamline our business and will handle most of the moving parts. Look at God!

When I said that I wanted to be a chain breaker, I meant that thing as an action, not a title. As I was listening to the "Holy Kickback Podcast" an ad popped up for Missions opportunities. The organization, "The Chain Breakers" is a multi-generational group of Christian creators and leaders that minister to people all over the world through art and other creative outlets. I haven't written a poem, and haven't painted or sculpted any new pieces since the cancellation of my WSFAM show.

I feel a nudging in my heart telling me this experience will be transformative. Although it wasn't in my plans, (of which I had none) I've decided to embrace this opportunity and step out on faith. What am I signing up; you ask?

Their About Us page reads as follows:
