Rosie's P.O.V
"IF ANYONE ASKS, I'M OUT!" Sara yelled before she slammed the door shut behind her.
"Sara, wait!" I cried but it was too late, she was already gone.
I can't believe this. I've lost my best friend all because of a guy. We always promised each other that no matter what, no guy could ever come between us. Our friendship was worth much more than stupid guy but apparently, this is what it comes to...our friendship destroyed by a guy who actually values and loves me.
"I can't take this..." a voice mumbled from behind me and I could hear footsteps coming closer to me.
"Luke?" I asked as I turned around to find Luke in frenzy. His fingertips nervously buried in his blonde quiff as he was rushing to the door.
"Where are you going?" I whispered as Luke grabbed the door handle and twisted it.
"Anywhere but here." he stuttered and finally managed to open the door.
"Luke what's going on?" I arched an eyebrow as I threw off the blankets that were covering me before I got up and walked over to Luke who was standing motionless at the door.
"I can't take this anymore." he expressed and I could hear his voice breaking.
"What's wrong Lukey?" I forced a slight smile as I grabbed his hand and dragged him outside of the apartment and sat him on the apartment stairs.
"I need some time off ... some time to think." Luke explained quietly.
"Did Calum say anything?" I blurted as I focused my eyes on Luke's and I could notice his eyes watering when suddenly, a single tear accidentally escaped his eye and rolled down his cheek, reaching the corner of his lips and splashing onto his black lip ring.
"He really loves you." Luke sighed as he rolled his eyes.
"What's wrong with that?" I asked with a puzzled facial expression.
"I can't compete with that Rosie." Luke whispered as he looked down, avoiding any sort of eye contact.
"Luke, you don't need to compete with anyone. You and Calum both have a place in my heart and you know that." I expressed as I grabbed his hand with mine, giving it a gentle reassuring squeeze.
"What do you mean?" Luke asked as he raised his glance up and looked me in the eyes.
"You are my best friend and he is my boyfriend. You'll always be my best friend and I'll always love you." I smiled and noticed Luke's soft eyes quickly harshen as he yanked his hand out of mine.
"I've got to go." Luke whispered as he got up from the stairs and left, leaving me sitting all alone.
I lost Sara and now Luke? This is truly not my day ...
"Babe, are you okay?" Calum tapped my shoulder and I turned around to find his eyes filled with concern.
"I'm fine." I lied.
