Sara's P.O.V
Okay, I know Rosie practically made Luke dump me because she had feelings for him but why is she hanging out with Calum so much. If all that went down that night was because they were drunk then why are they still acting like nothing has changed. Luke hasn't been around for 2 days, an all time new record.
I sit up in my bed just as my phone starts ringing while in the charger. I grabbed it while my eyes go blind for a second since the screen was shot up all the way to the brightest setting. It was Luke.
"Hey...Look I know I went M.I.A these couple days, but can you meet me? Alone please. I just...I need to talk to someone, someone that isn't Rosie or in the band. And well...that's you." He said, his voice in a whisper.
"Wow last choice huh? Well since I think you're alright I might as well." I said joking of course.
"Oh I-I didn't mean it like that. Meet me down the street in 5? I'll pick you up." Luke said clearly anxious.
"Yeah...of course." I said jumping out of bed and grabbing the first outfit I saw. A patterned short jumpsuit.
I quietly sneak out of my room and down the stairs. Half way down I look over at the couch in our living room to see Calum slumped all over it. Gotta say I'm pretty surprised he isn't with Rosie. I tip toe past him and slowly open the front door, closing it behind me. *Click* Shit that was louder than intended.
I run down the street toward the only running car. I take out my phone while running and check the time. Damn 3:09am. This whole Rosie/Calum thing but be bugging the shit out of him if he's here this early.
I finally reach the car and Luke pushed open the passenger side door and told me to get in quick. I got in.
"What's wrong! Why are we here....at 3am!" I asked.
"Look I know it's insanely early I just , I remembered that you were always a light sleeper. I assumed you wouldn't really mind. Especially once I tell you what this is all about." Luke said, turning on the headlights and driving off into the night. Well, morning.
"Look, I just...I don't really know, I know understand what's happening. Is Calum and Rosie a thing? That's why I left, I needed to figure out where I stoof with whatever me and Rosie have...or had. And well now I need you to tell me. Do I even stand a chance anymore?" He said pulling to the side of the wrong again and turning to face me, looking me in the eyes.
Now I remember why I liked him.
"Look I barely even get what's going on. All I know is pretty much what you know. Except...well..." I stopped myself before telling him about Calum.
"Is he sleeping there? I-I drove by earlier and saw his car in your driveway. Around 1. I just, if I don't stand a chance anymore I want to begin to move on. I still need her in my life, she's my best friend, you get that right? You're still friends with Alex after all that drama, I need Rosie and me to still be friends too. If I can't have a romantic relationship with her, I at least need a friendship one." He said beats of tears rolling down his cheek stopping half way before he took his sleeve and wipe them away.
"Look, I'm not the right person to be asking. I honestly have no clue. I know she could never just throw your friendship away for some guy. Even if it is Calum. You need to ask Rosie." I said honestly.
"I guess you're right. Look thank you for coming to meet me, I'll drop you back off and come back later in the afternoon? Would that be ok." He asked.
"Yeah, we aren't planning on doing anything anyways." I replied.
"Okay."
Rosie's P.O.V
It's 3:20, why isn't she in her bed? I need to talk to her. She's always there when I need to talk to her.
I see a pair of headlights shine outside the front of the house and see Sara getting out of the passenger side of the car. Is...IS THAT LUKE DRIVING!
I grab my house coat and run down the stairs passed a sleeping Calum to the front door. Getting there just as Sara opens the door, eyes wide, clearly surprised to see me awake.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" I loudly whispered.
Sara shushed me as she tilted her head toward the couch. Clearly she knew he slept over.
"Look he just wanted to talk. Not about our relationship, that is clearly over." She said coldly. Was she made at me?
"Well then what were you possibly talking about!" I demanded, if it was so important that it couldn't wait until at least the morning then she can surely tell me.
"I...you'll just have to wait till later today. In the late afternoon ok. I'm going back to bed, why don't you just go fuck your boyfriend." She said pushing past me, silent tears staining her jumpsuit.
I turn around to head back up to my room when I faintly hear my name being called. I look to my left, Calum. Did he hear that whole fight?
"Is she okay? She's never rude like that to me or you ESPEICALLY YOU." He said, his eyes full of concern.
"Yeah, I don't know. I just caught her getting out of Luke's car. Apparently they were talking. But she won't tell me about it till later this afternoon." I said walking towards him, as he sat up and wrapped his arm around me as I sat down beside him. This couch is comfy no wonder he likes sleeping on it.
"It'll all blow over. I'm sure he was just confused about what we are. I mean, I would be if I was in his position." He said stroking my hair back from my face before leaning in to kiss me gently.
We pull apart, "Yeah you're right." I say, before pulling him closer to me, kissing him slowly. Repeating what we did a few nights before.
