Sara's P.O.V

Rosie called me to meet up with her at this quiet coffee shop to talk about something. I don't really know what she wants to talk about but from the tone of her voice, it was obvious that she wanted to discuss something that was bothering her.

I turned off the ignition of my car as I parked right outside the small café, whose walls were painted a fresh white and had large windows which provided a clear vision from the outside of what was inside. I peeked through one of the windows to find Rosie sitting at a small, round, beige table which had a small, glass vase that had a single orchid and was placed in the centre of the table.

As I opened the door of the café, Rosie's eyes instantly froze on mine as she was aware that I had just arrived. I walked over at the table and noticed that she was wearing: a maroon colored crop top and black high-waisted shorts. Around her waist she had tied a black and white flannel, accentuating her tiny waist, reminding me of Luke's signature black and red flannel. Her blonde hair was put up in a messy bun and on her face, she simply wore mascara to elongate and thicken the intensity of her lashes and for lips, she wore some red lipstick.

"Hey." I greeted Rosie as I approached her.

Rosie got up from her seat to greet me with a big bear hug and whilst I was hugging her, it became clear that she felt safe in my arms and didn't want to let go whatsoever.

"What's up?" I whispered once Rosie finally stopped hugging me and we both sat at the table.

"Nothing." Rosie mumbled under her breath, avoiding any sort of eye contact. However, it was crystal clear that something was terribly wrong.

"Nothing, I just called you because I wanted to see if you have any news with Chuck." Rosie explained but the tone of her voice instantly gave her away, she was obviously lying.

She was anxious; I could tell ... I mean, all the signs were there! She was biting her lips nervously, her sparkly grey eyes were watering and it was clear that at any moment she would burst in tears and her voice was full of regret.

"If you don't tell me what's wrong, I won't tell you about Chuck." I winked mischievously.

"Fine." Rosie sighed as she crossed her arms over her chest anxiously.

"L-L-Luke ..." Rosie stuttered, unable to express what was truly going on.

"What about him?" I insisted.

"I...we...Luke...Luke and I." Rosie mumbled.

"Rosie, just spit it out!" I snapped impatiently.

"Luke and I kissed!" Rosie blurted as her rosy cheeks instantly turned into a hot shade of red whilst tears streamed down her eyes, creeping down to her lips, smearing her mascara.

"Oh my!" I gasped.

"I feel so bad." Rosie whispered, her lower lip quivering and her voice clearly breaking.

"Did you talk to Calum?" I asked as I arched my eyebrow.

"No..." Rosie mumbled under her breath as she wrapped her arms around her chest, hugging her body as if she was guilty for the worst crime that could ever be possibly committed.

"You need to tell him Rosie." I explained.

"I love him and I want to be with him, I don't want to ruin what we have." Rosie cried and buried her face in the palm of her hands, avoiding my stare.

"But, how can you love him if you kissed Luke?" I asked with a puzzled facial expression drawn all over my face.

"Luke kissed me! I didn't kiss him Sara!" Rosie snapped, clearly annoyed with my accusations.

"Okay, so what? Are you going to act as if you never kissed Luke and just go on being with Calum?" I exclaimed furiously.

"Don't fucking yell at me! Luke kissed me; I didn't kiss him so it's not my fault! I shouldn't be ashamed, I did nothing wrong! Luke is the one to blame!" Rosie yelled furiously.

"Well you did kiss Luke back." I groaned as I was stating the obvious.

"Sara, can you just stop?" Rosie cried.

"You need to talk with Calum." I insisted.

Rosie's P.O.V

Sara is honestly starting to frustrate me. Why can't she understand ... Luke kissed me, it's not like I was going after the kiss, he was looking for my lips, I wasn't looking for his!

She keeps insisting that I should tell Calum the truth, but honestly, I'm scared to. What if he reacts badly and blames me rather than Luke?

"Sara, I can't tell him." I whispered as I could feel a massive lump choke my throat.

"Okay, look. For now, we can keep it between you and me." Sara gave in and forced a slight smile on her face, accentuating her cute little dimples which could light up the whole room.

"I love you Rosie." Sara giggled and placed the palm of her hands on mine, suggesting that no matter what, we would always be best friends and that we would always have each other's back.

"Love you too Sars." I faked a smile.

Calum's P.O.V

Rosie just texted me and told me that she is at a café with Sara and will return back shortly.

"Luke? Hey man, this is the thousandth time I'm calling and well, I wanted to say I'm sorry man and I also wanted to somehow break the ice between us-" I explained when I was interrupted by Luke's voicemail for the thousandth time.

Rosie's P.O.V

"Now that you know what happened with Luke, you owe me some explanation about what's going on with you and Chuck." I demanded impatiently.

"Well, we kissed and I don't know what else is going on between us but I really like him and I feel like this time, it might work between us." Sara blushed.

I was so happy for Sara. I truly was but I couldn't help but stop thinking about how I could place my lips on Calum's after they have kissed Luke's.

Luke and I, it may seem right but truthfully, it isn't. I can still remember the way he tasted, it was magical. But I am with Calum and I can't be the one to break his heart... I love him.
