Luke's P.O.V
"Wow Sara what is wrong with you! Just because I was sad about Rosie doesn't mean I didn't get over her. For fucks sake she was my best friend, then my girlfriend. You of all people should know I get deeply involved into my relationships." I said, honestly how can come be so brutal in front of such a nice girl that she doesn't even know. I've never seen her like this. I can't believe her, is this the real her? Is this what I dodged?
"LUKE ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW! INVOLVED IN RELATIONSHIPS ARE YOU KIDDING? Don't you remember, I gave you everything I have within me and you cheated on me with MY not only best friend but room mate! Luke I can't believe you would say that to me!" She said.
People in the restaurant were beginning to turn their heads towards our little soap opera, clearly wondering what the hell was going on. I, myself, would like to know how the hell is going on. All that was suppose to happen tonight was for me to go out on a fun little date with Serena. Obviously I nice looking girl but someone I could get my mind into and off of Rosie and Sara and Calum and all the drama that's been happening these last few days. I never expected it to turn into such insanity.
"Look can we talk about this another time, people are beginning to look and honestly I don't have the energy to spend explaining this to you. It has nothing to do with you or Rosie. I just wanted to have a nice night out okay?" I whispered trying to get the atmosphere to cool down.
"SERIOUSLY THAT'S ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY. AFTER ALL WE'VE BEEN THROUGH!" Sara yelled once more.
I look behind her to see what looks like a manager coming over to our group. Great.
"Hi sorry to bother you but I'll have to ask you to return to your separate tables or leave, you're disturbing the other tables." The manager, her name tag read Gayle, said to us in a nice calm but firm voice.
"Whatever this jackass doesn't even deserve our time. By the way he's paying our bill tonight." Sara said turning to face me, her own face turning red with fury.
"Yeah, yeah I will." I said trying so hard to get everyone to just stop and leave this place.
"Okay, I'll get you the bill then." The manager said turning towards the hostess telling them to ring up their bill, knowing Chuck this was about to dig deep into my pockets.
"Look Luke, I'm sorry about her she's just. She has a lot of anger and she's been trying to blame it on you but honestly she doesn't mean it. None of it has to do with you at all. It's still Rosie. It probably always will be." Chuck said while Sara stormed out of the restaurant heading towards their car.
"Thanks but I know it has to do with me, at least even a little bit. I mean everything she said is tru-"
"Wait, so you're telling me I really am just some tool you're using to get over your ex?" I hear Serena say behind me.
I turn to her and see her mascara running down her perfectly sculpted jaw line.
"No, well I mean that's how it kinda started but defiantly not how it ended. I think you're an amazing girl, we have so much in common. I want to take you out again, that is if you'll have me." I ask a smile spreading across my face as I realize what I just said was the truth.
"Defiantly not!" Serena said before she turned and stormed out of the restaurant herself calling for a cab to take her home.
Chuck grabs my shoulder when I went to go after her.
"Dude you really are shitty with the ladies." He said.
"Oh thanks man, really helping the situation." I said cracking a small, light laugh.
"Here don't worry about the bills, I'll take care of them. You've had enough trouble to deal with these last few days let me get this." He said grabbing his check book and handing it to the hostess.
