The story revolves around a teenage girl who aspires to become a hero in a world where heroism is the norm. She lands a spot in the most prestigious hero school in the country. However, her journey to becoming a hero is not an easy one as she struggles to control her powers. Her childhood trauma haunts her, holding her back mentally.
Amidst all this, her mother struggles to trust her while her father seems almost too happy that she's entering the world of heroism. His unusual behaviour makes her suspicious and she begins to wonder if he's hiding something from her.
As she progresses through her training, she learns to overcome her mental and physical barriers and becomes a skilled hero. However, her father's secret comes to light, revealing a darker side to the world of heroism, and leaving her questioning everything she thought she knew.
The story follows her journey to becoming a hero, navigating the complexities of her family relationships, and uncovering the truth about the world she lives in. Will she succeed in her goal of heroism? Or will her devastating discoveries hold her back?
