"You've weakened? Not that I can see... We're clearly outmatched." Shigaraki snarled, scratching at his neck with pure rage. "How dare you do that to my Nomu."
Y/n raised a brow at the villain's childish words. It was obvious he didn't get out much and it made her wonder if this was the first he had interacted with other people in a long time. He mirrored a child throwing a temper tantrum, if a child was beyond unstable that is.
"He's not weak at all!! They... They lied to me?!"
"And YOU!" He yelled, his voice shrill and full of rage. He pointed a finger in Y/n's direction while clawing at his neck with the other. "You damn brat! Who even are you?! No child should have access to such... such—!"
"AUGH!" He stomped his feet.
All Might let out a faint chuckle. "Well? Coming to get me!?" He stood tall, making it seem like he could control the situation like a puppet master. "What happened to clearing the game...?"
"If you can take me, then bring it on!!"
As All Might stood in the cloud of dust and smoke, Y/n staggered over to Bakugo, Midoriya, Kirishima, and Todoroki, her every step a testament to the exhaustion she felt. Despite the weariness etched across her features, a small, satisfied smile played on her lips. A faint glow of fire hovered over her shoulders, a flicker of warmth that seemed to accompany her.
"Hey, guys," she greeted, her voice reflecting both fatigue and accomplishment. "Looks like I crashed the party with a little extra firepower. Who knew playing with fire would come in handy, huh?"
The group turned to her, their expressions shifting from concern to surprise as they took in the controlled flames lingering around her. Midoriya's eyes widened, Bakugo looked impressed yet annoyed, Kirishima grinned, and Todoroki, ever stoic, observed with a hint of acknowledgement.
"What the hell did you just do?" Bakugo demanded, his tone a mix of curiosity and irritation.
Y/n chuckled weakly, gesturing towards the battlefield where All Might continued his relentless mockery of the villains. "Just added a bit of spice to the fight. You know, a fiery distraction."
Midoriya couldn't help but admire her resilience, "That was incredible, Y/n." His face then turned to one of disbelief. "And so dangerous! You could have died!" He announced, looking at her as if she was insane.
"I know, I know." She chuckled, looking down at her burnt hands. "But I didn't die, so it's swings and roundabouts, my friend."
"That was pretty awesome," Kirishima added, slapping her on the back in a friendly manner. She grunted at the force of the impact.
Todoroki, though reserved, nodded in acknowledgement. He understood the strategic value of her contribution.
"Don't get too cocky. We could've handled it." Bakugo huffed.
Y/n grinned, unfazed by Bakugo's brash comment. "Sure thing, hotshot. Next time, I'll leave the fireworks to you."
Despite the banter, there was a shared sense of relief among them. "All Might'll take care of the big bads. Kirishima said as the small group began to walk away. "Let's go see if we can help the others..."
"Shit..." Y/n winced with each step, her body feeling like it might give out at any moment. The small flames above her shoulders dissipated, leaving her feeling strangely vulnerable. Kirishima, ever observant, noticed her struggle and without a word, looped one of her arms over his neck, offering her support.
