Later That Morning: 9:01 AM: April 9, 2023: Hoenn Island
“Hello again.” Gardevoir said as Charlie walked into the living room.
“Please tell me you slept last night,” Charlie said.
“I did, don’t worry!” Gardevoir said.
“You’re still not thinking that anything is your fault, are you?” Charlie asked.
“No, I’m not blaming anybody. I just got really worried last night.” Gardevoir said.
“Well, I’m making toast if you want any,” Charlie said as he walked towards the kitchen.
“I’ll take two slices of toast, please.” Gardevoir said.
“Alright, a total of four slices. Two for me. Two for you.” Charlie said.
At about that moment, Charlie and Gardevoir heard a knock on the front door.
Gardevoir went and answered the door.
At the door was a fifteen-year-old boy, he was the same height as Charlie. He had brown hair and green eyes.
“Hi, I see Charlie has a Pokemon now. I haven’t seen him in seven years, ever since I moved away from Shilby Village.” the fifteen-year-old at the door said.
“Hey, Wyatt. Did you move back?” Charlie asked.
“I did! I found a house on this path. The previous owner said my nearest neighbor was somebody named Charlie, and I wanted to see if it was the same Charlie as you.” Wyatt explained.
“My parents let me move out at the minimum age of ten, on the condition that I get a Pokemon. Did your parents just now let you move out?” Charlie said.
“Yep! So I decided to move back here!” Wyatt answered.
“Come in! I’m making toast for me and Gardevoir. Do you want some?” Charlie asked.
“No, I already had breakfast. Thank you though!” answered Wyatt.
Charlie brought the toast into the living room and the three started talking.
“Gardevoir here can change size!” Charlie said.
“Now listen, just because I left Shilby Village for seven years, doesn’t mean I lived in a fairy tale place where anything can happen. Now be straight with me.” Wyatt said.
“I can change size by will.” Gardevoir said.
“Most of the time. When emotions don’t get the best of her.” Charlie added.
“Yeah.” Gardevoir said shyly.
“Sorry,” Charlie said.
“It’s fine. I mean it’s true.” Gardevoir said.
At that point, Gardevoir and Charlie started talking about the events last night, a week and a half ago, (Dan and Parsons), and five years ago, (Mew giving Gardevoir the size-changing power).
“Listen, there is no need to attempt to impress me by making up unbelievable stories. I still respect you. But you should write what you said down, this could be a good story you might publish!” Wyatt said.
“But it’s all true, I can prove it! That way you can stop being stubborn! Sorry, just saying what I see.” Gardevoir said.
“It’s fine, but I would like you to prove against my stubbornness though, people in the city I lived in were all talk and no walk if you get what I mean. It is hard to transition out of that when that’s all you’ve heard for seven years.” Wyatt said.
“Alright, I’m going to prove it to you now.” Gardevoir said.
“Wait! If this is true, should we go outside?” Wyatt asked.
“I guess. If you want to, of course.” Charlie said.
The three of them went outside, and out onto the lawn.
“This house is about thirty feet tall, I’m going to grow to the size of the house.” Gardevoir said.
“Alright,” responded Wyatt.
Gardevoir began to change size until she was the size of the house.
She then lifted Wyatt using telekinesis.
“Believe us now?” Gardevoir said playfully and with a playful grin on her face.
“Yeah, yeah, I guess I do. Wow!” Wyatt said.
Gardevoir let him back down to the ground, and she changed back to her normal size.
“Hey, listen, I gotta go explore Shilby Village to see if anything has changed or not. See you guys soon!” Wyatt said.
“Bye, Wyatt! Nice to see you again!” Charlie said.
“Bye! Happy to meet you!” Gardevoir said.
“Let’s go inside,” Charlie said after Wyatt was out of view.
“Sure.” Gardevoir said.
