Four Minutes After The Conclusion Of Round Four: 7:05 PM: NGS Studios In Kanto: June 6, 2023
The cameras stopped rolling and Tom and Jackie stepped off the stage and returned to their seats in the audience. Charlie left the stage too, but only to talk with Gardevoir.
“I told you you would win. I knew it.” Gardevoir said excitedly growing a foot and a half.
“I guess you did. Calm down though, there are people near and I would hate it if you bumped into them.” Charlie said as a grin crept across his face.
“Sorry.” Gardevoir said as she had a full-blown smile on her face and she shrank back to her normal size.
“You were so confident I would win!” Charlie said
“I just couldn’t see the other two beating you.” Gardevoir said
Charlie blushed, and even though he tried to hide it, he didn’t do a good enough job of hiding it, because Gardevoir spotted him blushing.
“Aw, come on, it’s not that embarrassing to be called smart.” Gardevoir said jokingly.
“I’m not used to flattery, so… yeah,” Charlie said trailing off.
“Well, I enjoy seeing you blush, it’s like a break in personality, even with you being laid-back, you don’t show really any embarrassment.” Gardevoir said
With that comment, Charlie’s entire face turned a bright cherry red.
Gardevoir chuckled.
“I-I think I’m gonna… head back to the stage. Yeah, that’s it, I-uh, think I hear the producer calling for the cameras to roll in a few seconds.” Charlie said.
Charlie walked back on stage. He lied to Gardevoir. He didn’t hear anybody say anything, he just needed an excuse to get away.
In a minute and a half though, the producer called for the cameras to roll, so Charlie took his spot on stage in front of a small wheel with a bunch of envelopes in it. Charles took his spot next to Charlie.
“Three, two, cameras are rolling!” the producer said offstage.
“Welcome back to ’Big Money Wheel’ where Charlie has won the game with 615,000 Pokedollars! ($6150) Now he can win up to 10,000,000 Pokedollars more! ($100,000)” Charles said
“Here is how the bonus round works. This wheel has twenty-six spaces on it. Each space with a different letter of the alphabet. Each space has an envelope. You are going to spin this wheel and the space that it lands on, I will take the envelope out. Then a puzzle will appear on the board. You will give me five more consonants and one more vowel. After all the letters that you called show up in the puzzle, you will get fifteen seconds to attempt to solve. If you get it wrong, you can keep guessing until the timer runs out, or until you get it right. Now the wheel has envelopes ranging from 2,500,000 Pokedollars ($25,000) to 10,000,000 Pokedollars. ($100,000) There are five of each 2,500,000 Pokedollar ($25,000) and 3,000,000 Pokedollar ($30,000) envelopes. There are four of the 3,500,000 Pokedollar envelopes. ($35,000) There are three of each 4,000,000 Pokedollar ($40,000), 4,500,000 Pokedollar ($45,000), and 5,000,000 Pokedollar ($50,000) envelopes. There are two 7,500,000 Pokedollar envelopes. ($75,000) And finally, there is one 10,000,000 Pokedollar envelope. ($100,000) Let’s hope you get it. Without further ado, go ahead and spin the wheel, Charlie!” Charles explained
Charlie spun the small wheel. After six seconds, the wheel stopped on the letter ‘C’.
Charlie thought that was fitting.
Charles took the envelope out of the slot and led Charlie toward the puzzle board. They stopped about twenty-five feet in front of the board.
“Okay, here is your bonus round puzzle. The category is a Pokemon” Charles said
The puzzle looked like this:

“Five more consonants and one more vowel,” Charles said
Charlie looked at the number of spaces and he had a hunch.
“R, G, D, V, T, and A,” Charlie said,
“Okay, let’s see how this helps you,” Charles said
The puzzle now looked like this:

Charlie couldn’t believe it, his hunch was right!
“Fifteen seconds to solve it. I think you’ll get it. Your time starts…now!” Charles said,
“Is it ‘Gardevoir’?” Charlie asked
“It is!” Charles said as a different, more elaborate victory tune played and Susie flipped over all the remaining letters.
“Let’s see what you’ve won!” Charles said. Then he opened the envelope.
“You’ve won an additional 4,500,000 Pokedollars! ($45,000)” Charles said.
Charlie couldn’t believe it. Victory music was playing. The crowd was cheering. And Gardevoir had made her way on stage.
“Your total here today on ‘Big Money Wheel’ is 5,115,000 Pokedollars! ($51,150) Congratulations!” Charles said
Then the producer came on stage and handed Charlie a check written for 5,115,000 Pokedollars. ($51,150) Because the Pokemon world is just better, there are no taxes on winnings so Charlie got all of the 5,115,000 Pokedollars ($51,150)
After the cameras stopped rolling and everybody, including Charlie, had left the recording studio, Charlie and Gardevoir walked down the hall heading for the exit.
“I’ve got the check in my pocket. Good thing I recently opened up a bank account at Shilby Town Bank!” Charlie said.
“I am so happy you won!” Gardevoir said
