Two Days Later: May 23, 2023: On Hoenn Island

Inside Charlie’s house, Charlie was in the kitchen making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. However, Charlie ran into a little problem. He was out of bread.

Charlie walked into the living room and told Gardevoir what was going on.

“Want to go to the PokeMart with me, or do you want to stay here?” Charlie asked

“Sure, I’ll come with you.” Gardevoir said.

So off they went to the Pokemart for a loaf of bread. Along the way, they passed an apple cart.

“Apples! Fresh juicy apples! Get 2 for only 25 Pokedollars! 5 for 50 Pokedollars!” the apple vendor said.

“Yeah, sure I’ll buy ten,” Charlie said as we walked up to the vendor and gave him 100 Pokedollars.

“Thank you!” the vendor said, handing Charlie ten apples in a bag.

“You’re very welcome!” Charlie said.

After the interaction, Charlie and Gardevoir continued to walk on to the PokeMart.

After they got inside the PokeMart and got to the bread aisle, Charlie exclaimed,

“Oh my!” Charlie exclaimed

“What’s wrong?” Gardevoir asked

“The price of our favorite bread has gone up from 150 Pokedollars to 200 Pokedollars!” Charlie said

“Oh, well it’s not that much.” Gardevoir said

“Well, I guess you're right. Let’s get the bread, check out, and get home.” Charlie said

“Okay.” Gardevoir said.

So they checked out and began to make their way home.

When they passed the apple vendor, however, they saw a commotion over there.

“Let’s go see if we can help!” Gardevoir said.

“Okay!” Charlie said.

So they ran over to the apple cart to see what was going on. It turns out that two people in their early twenties were attempting to steal all the money the apple vendor earned.

“Hey, hey, help me! These two robbers are trying to steal all my hard-earned money!” the apple vendor yelled.

Gardevoir grew to thirty feet tall. The vendor stopped yelling and looked agape at her. The two robbers turned around to see why the vendor was making that face.

Imagine Charlie’s, and for that matter, Gardevoir’s, surprise when they recognized the two robbers as Dan and Parsons!

“Oh, it’s you two.” Gardevoir said as her eyes narrowed and she grew another ten feet.

“Run!” Dan yelled as he threw the vendor’s money back at him

While Dan and Parsons ran valiantly, Gardevoir easily chased them down. Though it must have been very easy, seeing as she was forty feet tall.

She picked both of them up.

“Now what did I tell you about stealing stuff from people?” Gardevoir said angrily

“W-well, I mean, I-I guess you told us n-not to,” Dan said.

“I’m turning you in.” Gardevoir said.

So off they all went. Charlie and Gardevoir, because they were witnesses. Dan and Parsons because, well, if I have to explain it, you haven’t been paying attention. And the apple vendor because it was his cart that was robbed.

They got turned in at the police station. They were held in a jail cell in the station until their court trial, two days later.

Charlie and Gardevoir saw on Channel Eight that they were sentenced to six months in jail. They will be released on November 25, 2023.
