Two Days Later: April 28, 2023: On Hoenn Island

“I’ve been thinking,” said Charlie

Charlie and Gardevoir were sitting by the fire in the living room.

“About what?” Gardevoir asked.

“About how you saved that old lady in the park a couple of days ago,” Charlie said.

Before Gardevoir could answer, they heard a knock on the door.

Gardevoir went and answered the door.

“Oh, hey Wyatt!” Gardevoir said.

“Can I come in? Is Charlie here, I want to talk to both of you.” Wyatt asked.

“Yes, and yes!” answered Gardevoir.

Wyatt walked into the living room with Gardevoi and sat down next to Charlie.

“So I heard what y’all did a couple of days ago,” Wyatt said.

“I’m just happy that we are not on the news, I like my quiet life here in this wooden house with my friend and with Gardevoir,” Charlie said.

“I guess you didn’t want to split the money then, huh?” Wyatt said

“What money?” Charlie asked.

“Either way, Gardevoir is disappointed in you.” Gardevoir said.

“I was joking about that, there is no money. I just wanted to hear if that was your catchphrase or something.” Wyatt explained.

“So, you wanted Gardevoir to be disappointed in you?” Charlie asked with a confused look on his face.

“No, I just wanted to make sure that when you described your stories last time, you had that catchphrase when you are not happy with somebody. I think it’s pretty cool!” Wyatt said.

“Ookkaayy?” Gardevoir said with a confused drawl in her voice. She also had a confused look on her face.

“Yeah, that was a little awkward. Let’s change the subject. Other than saving that lady, what’s happened since I’ve last seen you?” Wyatt said

“Well, I guess not too much,” Charlie answered.

“Well, Mew came and we told her about what’s happened, including when I uncontrollably grew when I was super worried. She said she was afraid of that happening. She said if I let my worry and anxiety fully wash over me, I may grow and grow and never return to normal.” Gardevoir explained.

“That is Mew’s visit in a nutshell,” Charlie said.

“Well, I brought a dice game with me if y’all wanna play,” Wyatt said.

“Sure!” Charlie said

“Why not?” Gardevoir said.

So they set up the game and they played it.

Charlie won with 236 points with Wyatt close behind at 230 and Gardevoir fell hard on her luck, and she ended with 157.

“Well, I’ve gotta get going, nice playing this game with y’all!” Wyatt said.

“I’ll see you later, man. Nice seeing you!” Charlie said

“See you later!” Gardevoir said.

“Bye!” Wyatt said as he walked out the front door, and back down the path.

“That was fun,” Charlie said after they stepped back inside.

“Yeah, even if I didn’t play well!” Gardevoir agreed.
