Three Days Later: May 1, 2023: On Hoenn Island

“Hey Gardevoir, I’m home! Could you help me with this box, please? Be careful, it’s fragile!” Charlie said.

“I’m coming! Here just let me get it.” Gardevoir said. She was able to easily pick it up carefully after she grew to ten feet tall. Though she did hurt her head on the nine-foot ceiling.

“Where do you want me to set it?” asked Gardevoir.

“In the living room. You didn’t have to do that, you know, I could have helped you.” Charlie said

“I know, but this way is easier.” Gardevoir said as she returned to normal size.

“What’s in the box?” Gardevoir asked.

“A television. I can only afford four channels though. One has the news, another has game shows, another has old shows that played when my parents and grandparents were watching TV, and the last one has the most popular shows.” Charlie explained.

“Need help hooking it up?” Gardevoir asked.

“No, I helped set up a TV at my parent’s house before, this is the same television, just with fewer channels,” Charlie explained.

Charlie was speaking the truth, for he had the television set up in just twenty minutes. Charlie turned on the television.

“Remember, the news is Channel Eight, the channel with all the game shows on it is Channel Eleven, the channel with the older shows on it is Channel Eighteen, and the one with the popular shows is Channel Two. In case you forget, I have a list on the wall next to the new television,” explained Charlie.

“Okay, thanks for the heads-up!” Gardevoir said.

“I’m going to watch Channel Eight ‘till I see the weather because if it rains, I need to shelter my bike so the chain doesn’t rust,” Charlie said

“Okay, I’m going to find my new favorite book upstairs. I’ve gotta see how it ends! I’ll be upstairs if you need me.” Gardevoir said.

“Okay.” acknowledged Charlie.

Upstairs, in Charlie’s and Gardevoir’s room, Gardevoir yelled out, because somebody was in there.

“Who are you?” Gardevoir asked as she grew to fifteen feet tall, but of course, she hurt herself again on the nine-foot ceiling.

“Whoa, sorry, I must be in the wrong house!” the stranger said.

“You had better leave now!” Gardevoir said as she lifted him using her telekinesis.

“Hey, this must be the same address house, but on a different path! I’m sorry, I’ll leave! Just let me down!” the stranger said.

“Okay. I’ll follow you out.” Gardevoir said as she released her telekinesis hold on him.

She followed him downstairs and outside and watched him run down the path.

When Gardevoir got back inside, Charlie asked,

“Who was that?” Charlie asked

“No clue, he claimed to accidentally be in the wrong house, so I walked him out.” Gardevoir said.

“Well, he’s gone now. Though if I were you, I would return to your normal size, you look uncomfortable in that bent over, fifteen-foot tall position you’re in.” Charlie said

“Oh, right! I forgot.” Gardevoir said as she returned to her normal five-foot size.

“Let’s sit down and watch Channel Two.” Charlie said

“Sure.” Gardevoir said
