31. Tsukki

I woke up to feeling something shift on my bed in front of me. I tiredly open my eyes to see Yamaguchi lying peacefully in my arms. I forgot how cute he is when he is sleeping. I feel my cheeks gently warm up as I lean down and kiss his head. I hear him hum in happiness in his sleep. This made my smile only grow. I miss waking up to this in the mornings... I heard my phone buzz from its charging spot on my nightstand. I look over and reach for my phone only to see no notifications on my phone. It was Yamaguchi's phone which had been lying under mine. I reach for it to see if it is anyone or anything important. I see the name is Daichi.

'Should be fine for me to look at.'

I open his phone easily since he never changes his phone password.

I'm in. I open the message from Daichi.

Hey Yams, everything okay? I never heard back from you last night so I'm a bit worried.

Hey Daichi, it's Tsukki. Yams is safe at my place and I'm doing a lot better! Thank you for sending him over.

Oh hey! I'm glad to hear you are doing better.

I smile putting Yamaguchi's phone down, and I go back to observing the beautiful boy in my arm(s).

As I rolled back over, I heard one of our phones buzz. This one wakes Yamaguchi.

"Shhh shhh, it's okay. It's just my phone, go back to sleep."

"Tsuk..."

I feel my face warm up. I can tell he is half asleep... I quietly and carefully sigh.

"I'm right here baby..."

He smiles and snuggles into my chest. I gently run my hand through his slightly messy hair soothing him back to sleep. I carefully grab my phone knowing this time that it is actually my phone. It was a text from... Daichi?

Hey Tsukki. I know you kind of have a bit going
on right now, but Kuroo called me worried
about Kageyama. He isn't doing well with
 some news he found out and probably needs
some support. You you mind going over there
for a bit to check on him? I would but I have
college stuff today. If not I get it just lmk!

I put my phone down and lay there for a moment. I turned to look at Yamauchi who was now awake and looking right back at me.

"Oh- Morning."

Morning!" He said as he kissed me. He froze immediately. "I.. am so sorry... It's a habit..."

"No, it's okay I get it.."

"Okay cool... did I do anything else completely embarrassing while I was asleep?" He asked as he sat up on the bed next to me.

"Tsuk..."

"What was that? I couldn't hear you.."

"Tsuk..." His face went red. "You called me Tsuk..."

"I- I am so so so sorry! I should probably go!" He starts to climb off my bed but I grab his wrist sitting on the edge of the bed.

"Wait!"

He wouldn't turn to look at me. He just stared at the ground opposite side of the way facing me.

"Yamma... come on. Talk to me. It wasn't that bad. If anything I kinda..." I got rather quiet as though I was telling a secret. "I thought it was cute..."

I gently pulled him and he didn't resist turning towards me. His cheeks were a mix of red and pink. I could tell he was embarrassed. I sat there just admiring his cute face for a moment.
