somehow, the week went by really fast.
and tomorrow nikis leaving.
i don't want her to.
she makes me feel worth something.

"aw man it's raining?" niki says sadly.

i look out the window and it's sure enough it's raining.

"i like the rain." i smile.
i get an idea.
"what if we go to a starbucks and drink it in an empty field while looking at the rain?"

"you know what?" she turns to me. "that sounds amazing, get the keys."

i giggle and rub to put my shoes on.
being my crusty converse and my keys.

"come on!" i say excitedly.

she laughs and gets her vans.

we run to the car and by the time we're in the car, we're all wet.

"what song?" she asked.

"the neighbourhood!!"

she plays sweater weather.

i hum as i drive to the nearest starbucks that wasn't where i worked.

i order a pumpkin chai latte and niki gets the same.

after we get the drinks we play music till we get there.

"sometimes i go here to just think," i tell niki while looking out of the window.

"it's pretty."

i'm gunna tell her
how i feel.

"hey niki?"
the music changes to girl in red.
we fell in love in october.

"yeah?"

i silence my phone.

"i need to tell you something."

she looks at me.
'your so pretty and i love this view.'

"i-i think i like you." i look down at my fingers that are in my lap.

'we fell in love in october. that's why i love fall'

she looked at me with a red face. "i like you too."

"more than just a friend?"

"more than just a friend." she held my hand.
we leaned toward eachother.

"can i?" we say at the same time.

we laugh and i peck her on the lips.

'you will be my girl'

she looked at me, wide eyed then returned the kiss, after a few seconds we stayed there for a while.

"what are we doing next?" niki asked. "it's only 5."

"hm." i think.

"targets open maybe we could-"

"I LOVE TARGET LETS GO."

i drive to the target and we park.

we walk inside, holding hands.
i never want to let go.

"there's this book i want to get and it's by an author of another book i've read before so,"
she rants about the book and i smile at her enthusiasm.
she's so happy.
she's so pretty.
"dahlia?"

she waved a hand in front of me.

"hm?"

"you were staring."

"oh sorry." i mumble.

"hey," she rubbed my knuckles. (A/N: knuckles uganda) "it's ok."

i walk around looking at books.

"DAHLIA!!" she gasped and rapidly tapped my arm to get my attention. "i see it!"

it's called solitare.
it's by the same person who wrote heartstopper, alice oseman.

"i'm gunna get it!" she held it and smiled.

i snap a picture of us and her holding the book happily and scribble over my face then post it on my twitter.
damn haven't opened my twitter in a while.

we walk to the cooking isle and get a cake and frostings.

we drive back to the apartment and as we're setting up for a stream i get a call from none other than jschlarticus.

"what do you want?" i sigh.

"hey ted and charlie and tucker!" i greet. "i mean i like tates cookies so i guess crispy."

"YES. HAHA CHARLIE, DAHLIA SAID TATES CRISPY COOKIES!! FUCK YOU GUYS!!" he yells. "also charlie said what the fuck."

he hung up and i laugh, i can't wait to watch the next episode.

"what did he want?" niki asked.

"crispy or soft cookie."
