dahlias pov:

"what do you mean?"

"i saw that you hurt yourself." niki looked at me with a soft expression.

"n-no i don't know what your talking about." i scooted back.

"dahlia, it's ok."

"no i n-need." i thought of an excuse.
"one sec." i got up and went to the bathroom.

no no no no no...
no one was supposed to find out...

i grabbed my blade from my pocket and i pressed it to the soft skin on my forearm.
i also had a few cuts on my thighs but arms are easier to access.

after a few cuts i felt better then rinsed my cuts with water till they stopped bleeding.
i patted them dry then walked back with shaky legs.

"dahlia," niki said softly.

"no, i'm ok. i never-"
she hugged me.
"i-i'm sorry i dunno-" i kept repeating.

"shhhh. it's ok." she held me while i cried.

"help me please." i sobbed.

"i will, i promise."

she picked me up and lead me to the bathroom where i accidentally left my blade on the counter.

she didn't seem to notice but she probably did.
"can you take off your jacket for me?" she asked.
she reached for the bandages and neosporin.
"just to make sure they don't get infected."
i nodded.
as she put the neosporin, tears kept falling.
she bandaged them up.
"do you have anymore?" she asked.

"i- i have a few on my thighs but they're old."

"already healed?"

i nodded.
"again you're not in trouble i just want to make sure you're ok."

i nodded with a small sob.
"thank you."

"it's no problem."

"you don't deserve this. if you want to break up and give it some time before you make a decision. you can leave now i can book a flight right now. you don't have to put up with me.
i won't be mad i prom-"

she hugged me.
"stop, i love you, ok? i love you so much. nothing will change that."
i cried and she held me as tears streamed down my face.

"thanks." i said between sniffles.

"no problem love. it's late let's go to bed ok?"

i nodded.
i started to get up but they picked me up and walked up stairs.
am i heavy?

she laid me down and i curled up into a little ball.

"are you doing ok?" she asked and laid down infront of me.

"my a-arms kinda hurt." i whispered.

she pulled me close.
"i know, love, i know." she whispered back.

"i'm sorry."

"you have nothing to be sorry about."

i shook my head.

"lia, you need to eat something." she said softly.

"i'm not hungry."

"i know but you need to."

i just stared at the food.
"i can't."
