dahlias pov:

"WHAT?!" tommy yelled.

"i know." i sighed and leaned back on the couch.

"why did they have to cancel the twitchcon?" tommy whines.

"aw man, i already booked the airbnb." wilbur said sadly.

"i mean we can meet up there with the gang and explore the city."

"i mean," ranboo started. "i'm free."

"i'm free cause i took the month off." aimsey said.

"same cause i thought we were going to twitchcon." tubbo agreed.

we all agreed and went back upstairs for bed.

i got a call moments later.

"so i heard twitchcon got canceled." schlatt said.

"yeah." i replied.

"so when are you guys heading to las vegas?" he asked.

"tomorrow we're heading out there and staying for three days."

i heard faint clicking. "ah ok just wondering well bye!"

"bye-"

"WAIT. your pussy wants to say hello."

we switch to facetime and i see potato.

"hi potato!!" i wave.

potato meowed.

after a while we hung up and i laid down on my bed and saw niki walk in.

she laid down on her bed and started reading.

"what book is that?"

"the one that i bought in austin. i'm a slow reader." she smiled.

i lay down beside her and i read along, i already read the book before so i watched her eyes follow the letters.

my eyes started to fall shut, but i kept them open.
i laid my head on her shoulder.

"chapter 19," niki starts to read aloud the book. "the fire alarm goes off in Period 5 the next day." she read and i let my eyes shut.

her voice slowly faded away until i fell asleep.

Dahlias pov:

i wake up kinda early the next day and next the groupchat that we need to leave.

i slipped out of nikis arms and went to collect my clothes to take a shower.

i didn't do my hair either just took a shower and blow dried it
i just do my eye makeup cause i'm too tired to do a full face.

niki woke up shortly after. "good morning." she hugged me from behind as i did my makeup.

"morning."

it's not a 'good' morning.
if it were, then i'd be asleep.

then niki took the bathroom and i walk a few steps to the bed and laid down, liking a few things on twitter.
