i felt a shift and it was dahlia turning. they fell asleep. after the movie finished we talking about the podcast.
"well i'm heading to bed." charlie said as he jumped on the inflatable mattress.
i nodded and got up to pick up dahlia since ted was using the couch to sleep.
they were very light. like... surprisingly light.
"ted..." i whispered. not really believing what i was coming to the conclusion of.
"what's up?" he asked.
"theyre.... really light."
"what?" he asked.
charlie looked up. "huh?"
"i'll tell you guys in a sec." i walked to their room and set them down on the bed. i covered them with a blanket and walked back to the living room.
"what's going on?" charlie asked.
"dahlia. it's that they're really light."
"shit." ted mumbled and laid his head down.
"i don't understand. they ate food. even at the restaurant yesterday. they ate." charlie exclaimed.
"i dunno how," i started. "but they could be throwing it up."
"how?" charlie asked.
"i just said i dunno dumbass."
Dahlias pov:
i woke up to a missed call from niki.
"hello-"
"DAHLIA HI!"
"what's up?" i sat up and rubbed my eyes.
"SO GUESS WHAT?"
"what?"
"I AM MOVING TO LA!!"
"WOAH HOLY SHIT!"
"I KNOW RIGHT IM SO EXCITED!!"
*timeskip to two weeks*
i think i have a problem. i let myself slip into well... my old habits. calorie counting and starving. i am still 2 years clean on self harm though.
i'm looking forward to seeing my girlfriend of a few months later. i'm going to help her pack so she can move to LA. i'm very excited. but i don't know how i'll hide my habits.

i got off the airplane and collected my bag from baggage and walked to find niki.
i saw her split died hair, just like from her latest instagram post.
"dahlia!!" niki smiled. to be honest i probably looked like a mess. i had a delay so it took a lot longer than i had hoped.
she ran and hugged me. i basically collapsed both from not eating and just pure exhaustion.
"come on love let's get home, ok?" she whispered comfortingly.
i nodded and slipped out of her embrace and grabbed my bag from the floor.
nikis pov:
she seems unwell. her clothes are basically falling off of her. she's very skinny and their eyes are sunken in.
"want to stop for coffee?" they asked. but they looked very tired.
"no it's ok. we can go later after we take a nap. i'm tired." i said so they don't feel bad about wanting to sleep.
"oh ok!"
we got to my apartment and there was a lot of boxes already packed and ready to be shipped to my new apartment that i rented.
"let's go to bed." they nodded sleepily and went toward my bedroom.
i pet my cat zuko and walked behind dahlia.
she laid down and i laid down beside them. they hugged my arm and i used my free arm to hug them back.

they were still asleep but i decided to make us some lunch.
since i've been trying to eat healthier, i made us a salad with chicken.
i heard a creaking in the floorboards and i saw dahlia smile. i saw that their wearing one of my hoodies. they looks cute with it on.
"hi lia."
they just hugged me. "my head hurts."
"let's get you some paracetamol." i smiled and they sat down at the table while i got the pills "there ya go."
"thank you."
"no problem." i set some bowls with the salad.
dahlias pov:
i hate eating. especially infront of people.
*flashback to 2 weeks ago*
"uh hi!" i was met with three boys sitting on my couch. "is this an interrogation?"
"dahlia, when was the last time you ate?" schlatt asked.
"lunch." i said.
"liar." he stared at me.
"n-no i'm not." i replied.
"dahlia, we know."
"know what?"
"your not fooling us."
i felt a tear slip down my cheek. "i'm," i sniffled. "i'm fine." i rubbed my eye and i saw mascara staining my palm. "i need to go to work."
"uh. we're leaving." ted shrugged.
"bye." i have both of them a quick hug and rushed out the door.
*back to the present*
"you doing ok?" niki asked with a worried look in her eyes.
"yeah." i took a bite. ew.
