SIENNA'S POV
When I gave myself into this I thought it would be a long ride, that I would basically have to force these actors and actresses to put in the work that was needed but things was speeding up rapidly. They were better than I thought. And after two gruelling weeks of hardcore training in the gym in the mornings and spending the rest of the day in a lecture hall, I thought it was time for them to get a feel for the wings. They needed some fun to get some motivation.
"Morning." Dad said as he walked into the cafeteria and grabbed a cup of coffee.
"Morning." I said.
"Looking forward to be up in the air with you today." He said and I nodded.
"Except that you and I aren't flying together." I said.
"You already know this stuff, you know how to steer a jet. If you want to fly, dad, I can put in a request for you." I said and looked down at the floor.
"Are you not going to speak to me unless it's work related for this entire production?" He asked and I sighed.
"Why didn't you tell me a new Top Gun was going to be filmed? Why didn't you give me a heads up?" I asked bluntly.
"I work in the goddamn Navy! I'm stationed at Top Gun!" I said loudly.
"You didn't think I wouldn't find out? Is that what this is? You didn't think the Chief would tell the highest ranked aviators that there will be a movie about the goddamn mission they worked their ass off to complete successfully?!" I shouted and he sighed.
"I was on that goddamn mission! I was team leader!" I said loudly.
"I made sure it ended in success!" I added.
"And you were going to tell this story without giving me a heads fucking it!" I shouted.
"I was going to give you a heads up!" He said loudly and then looked away for a second.
