MILES'S POV
Christmas with the Cruise's. Never thought I would spend the holiday with the legend himself. But here I was. After this crazy year both Lina and I wanted a mellow Christmas. No fuss. And after spending a few weeks with my family we thought I was a good idea to spend Christmas with Tom. Honestly, I think Lina felt bad he was going to be all alone. And I really didn't mind some peace and quiet. We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in pyjamas, watching Christmas movies, playing board games, drinking cocktails and eating takeout. Nothing fancy. Just three people enjoying each other's company by the fireplace. And now it was time to get out of our pyjamas and get our fancy outfits on. It was Christmas party time. The Top Gun crew was coming, Chase, Zac, Michael and Sheilene was coming. And to my surprise, Lina had invited a two of her colleagues, Hurricane and Thor was coming. She is still shattered from Blaze's death and I think she feels a little responsible for it. She is the team leader. She is responsible for her fellow aviators up in the air. And I knew her conscious would feel a little better inviting Hurricane and Thor who also were there when it happened.
