LINA'S POV

He followed me up to my apartment door. He looked handsome in his black pants and black button up, he looked powerful. He grabbed my hand and twirled me around making my heart race. I looked him in the eyes and he put his hand on my waist, not breaking the eyes contact.

"You look beautiful." He said and I looked down at my black, long sleeve maxi dress.

"Really?" I asked and looked up at him again.

"I'll prove it." He said and I smirked confusingly.

"What do you mean?" I asked and he smiled a toothless smile. He pulled me closer, placed his hand under my chin, looked at my lips and smiled softly before he gently kissed me. I felt butterflies flutter in my stomach as our lips moved in sync. His hand travelled slowly from my chin to my jaw as he pulled me even closer. I smiled into the kiss and he let out a chuckle.

"Proved." I mumbled into the kiss and he chuckled. I opened the door to my apartment and without breaking the kiss, we walked in and he closed the door behind him. He gently pushed me against the wall and he kept his hand on my jaw, supporting himself with his other hand on the wall as he leaned closer in.

"You have no idea for how long I've been wanting to kiss you." He said as he kissed the side of my neck making me smile. I placed my hand on his cheek and pulled his lips onto mine again, it was something addictive. His lips. We pulled away and he rested his forehead on mine.

"Wine or whiskey?" I asked and he chuckled.

"Whiskey it is." I said and he chuckled again. I grabbed his hand and I walked over to my little bar and pulled out the whiskey bottle and two glasses.

"Offf, Dalmore Single Malt." He said and grabbed the bottle and looked at it.

"Someone is doing good." He said and I chuckled.

"I've had it for ages, my granddad bought it for me when I graduated the Naval Academy." I said.

"It's unopened." He said.

"I've been waiting for the right occasion." I said and he smiled softly.

"I'm the right occasion, huh?" He asked and placed his hand on my waist and I blushed. He kissed my cheek softly and we walked out to the balcony. I placed the two glasses on the table and he poured up the whiskey.
