LINA'S POV

"You look very beautiful." Miles said and kissed my cheek as I looked myself in the mirror wearing a black maxi dress. I smiled a little and a stroke my arms gently.

"You can do this, I'll be there for you, whatever you need, babe." He said and I nodded. I turned around and looked at him in his black suit. He did look very handsome. I straightened his tie and he smiled softly.

"You got this." He said and I nodded. He kissed me softly and took my hand. I grabbed my purse from the kitchen counter and we walked out to the cab. He opened the door for me and I sat down. He sat down on the other side and we took off. I felt shaky, my hands were trembling and I didn't know how to control it. I started nibbling on my nail as I looked out the window. I suddenly felt a hand on my thigh and I looked over Miles who looked at me with raised eyebrows. He squeezed my thigh lightly and I looked back out of the window the entire ride.

The cab driver pulled up by the church and I felt frozen. I couldn't get out.
"You can do this." Miles mumbled and I nodded. He got out of the cab and opened the door for me. He took my hand and helped me out. He stroke my back gently as I looked at the church.

"You okay?" He asked and I looked up at him.

"No." I said and he nodded. He intertwined our hands and we started walking up to the church. Mom was well loved by a lot of people. She had a lot of friends and a part of me now felt like it was a burden, the crowd was big. There were a lot of people who wanted to pay their respects. I felt like I was in a fog. I couldn't see clearly. I couldn't think clearly. I couldn't hear clearly. Everything felt like it was in a distance when they in fact were only a feet away from me. I could barely even hear Miles talk.

"Hey." I heard someone say in a low voice and I tried to focus my gaze to where the voice came from. I looked over to see my dad.

"Hey, Tom." Miles said and gave him a hug.
