NXT Takeover Brooklyn|August 2015

"I am not afraid, I was born to do this. I got this. I am not afraid, I was born to do this." Mercedes Kaestner-Varnado (Sasha Banks) quietly thought to herself as the car she was currently seated in was slowly driving to the entrance way of the Barclays Center.

Mercedes and her best friend, Pam Martinez (Bayley) were about to make history. It was NXT Takeover: Brooklyn at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. It was the very first time NXT left Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida for a Takeover event. And the two women were about to make history and blow everyone out of the water.

Sasha Banks was the current NXT Women's Champion. She was facing Bayley for the NXT Women's Championship as the co-main event for NXT Takeover: Brooklyn. Paul Levesque (Triple H) wanted them to be co-main event, giving them the opportunity and spotlight they've earned and deserved. They couldn't wait to show the world what they were capable of, along with the rest of the women's division. They wanted to change the game and put everyone on notice.

Sasha Banks made a WrestleMania worthy entrance to the ring. Mercedes and Pam felt as if this was their WrestleMania moment, even if they were still in NXT. The two trusted each other and knew what they were capable of.

Sasha and Bayley put on what many now thought was the greatest women's match of all time, now one of the greatest matches of all time in general. The two even saw their close friend Colby Lopez (Seth Rollins) sitting out in the crowd, wiping a tear from his eye during the final moments of the two's now historic bout. The girls had nothing to be ashamed of and everything to be proud of.

"I love you so much, Pammy!" Mercedes cried as she and Pam hugged backstage after the match was said and done.

"I love you, dude! I'm gonna miss you so much, but I'm so proud of you." Pam grinned as she hugged her best friend. Pam was referring to tonight being Mercedes' final match in NXT, now joining the main roster full time and not having to do as much back and forth between all three brands.

"Trust me, I'm still gonna come pester you at the PC." Mercedes said, making both of them laugh. The two pulled from their hug as they saw Colby coming to congratulate them.

"That was the greatest match I've ever seen. You two just changed the whole damn industry forever! I'm so proud of both of you." Colby sincerely grinned, hugging Pam and then going to hug Mercedes.

"Thanks, Colby. I caught you crying out there!" Pam teased, reminding Colby of the sentimental moment that she, Mercedes, and everyone else around caught from the well known Seth Rollins.

"I did not! I have allergies!" He tried to cover up and retort, knowing damn well he was caught.

"Whatever, Colby! Get outta here! You have a match with Cena tomorrow." Mercedes laughed, playfully pushing him to the side.

"Uh huh, see you tomorrow, Boss." He smiled, leaving them be to celebrate a beautiful moment in their careers and women's wrestling.
