James: and we have a winner!

Eri smiled brightly and looked at his father smugly as she just beat him in basketball. Izuku chuckled and played with Eri's hair.

Izuku: I guess I'm a bit rusty from my basketball days. You got me on an off day.

Eri: Uhu, sure~ oh my God, it's so fluffy!!

Eri said, grabbing the big plushy unicorn and running next to Momo, showing it to her with a big smile. Izuku joined them, rubbing his back.

Momo, alright, what's next?

Eri:oh! How about that?!

*Izuku and Momo looked at the extremely fast rollercoaster, making both of their stomachs rumble in objection.*

Izuku: I wish I could, baby girl, but I feel my back starting to hurt. So I'm going to sit this one out and stay on that bench over there, but I'm sure your mother would just love to join you.

Zuku said with a completely innocent face as Momo looked at him with an utterly betrayed and angry look as she forced a smile.

Momo: Your back, huh?

Izuku: Yes, it acts up in the most unfortunate of times. Have fun~

Zuku grabbed Eri's unicorn, and Eri grabbed Momo's hand, dragging her to the line. Izuku chuckled as he went and sat down, sighing deeply.

Izuku: Magneto that feels good

*Izuku glanced at the person also sitting there, a 70-something-looking man in a large black trench coat.*

Izuku: Lovely night, wouldn't you agree?

Gabriel: It's quite a night, yes.

Izuku: Are you here with family?

Gabriel: No, no, just keeping the tradition alive.

Izuku:oh? Want to tell me about it?

Gabriel: You want to hear an old man's tale?

Izuku: Sure, better than the alternative.

Gabriel Hummed didn't say anything; he just looked ahead with a look. Zuku knows all too well.

Gabriel: My family used to come here every year since I was a boy, and this place used to be a normal circus. Every year we would come back and have a good time and just be with family, you know?

Izuku: So what's so different this year?

Gabriel: Ah, I don't want to bother you with the problem of an old man.

Izuku: Who better than someone you'll never see again?

Gabriel:fair point. My family has been hit with some pretty bad luck the last couple of years. I lost a few homes, a few jobs, and a few good people, and unfortunately, my wife is going to be one of them.

Izuku: Is it terminal?

Gabriel:no. But we don't have the money for the operation. It's ironic, isn't it? We've come such a long way that we can cure almost anything, but if you don't have the money, they won't give you a second glance.

Gabriel said in a bitter tone as he grabbed his cane tightly in frustration for the world he lives in. It was Izuku's turn to hum, looking at the same thing Gabriel was looking at.

Izuku: So that's why you're here for the most popular event of the year, huh? How much do you need?

Gabriel: What does it matter?

Izuku: Just making conversation, how much would you need?

Gabriel: Around 50 thousand euros, at least
