Raghbir's POV:

"What makes for a perfect date? I found myself pondering this question as I scrolled through countless search results on my phone.

After inviting Meera out earlier, I now find myself unsure of how to proceed.

Our previous plans fell through, and I hoped this date would help clear up the misunderstandings between us. Yet, as someone lacking experience in this matter of romance , I felt utterly lost about how to make this evening memorable.

After sifting through various articles, I stumbled upon one that caught my eye. Its advice was simple: 'Just be yourself on your first date, that's the ultimate suggestion.'

Huff!!

With a sigh, I set aside my phone, tossing it onto the bed.

Godd!! Never before had I felt this nervous.

Pushing aside my worries, I made my way to the closet to prepare for the eagerly anticipated evening.

'Wahe guru, Meher karna Iss bande par! Aaj ka date spoil nehi hona chaiye!!' I whispered, hoping for a stroke of luck to ensure tonight's date goes smoothly.

Author's POV :

After spritzing on his favorite perfume, Raghbir glanced at the clock: 7:05.

I must get going, he thought.

With a quick check, as he headed towards the elevator, the phone in his pocket buzzed with a notification.

He took his phone out only to see Kiara's call, irritation flickered across his face. "What's going on now?" he answered.

"Raghs, please, I need your help! I'm at the club, feeling absolutely awful, and my driver seems to have vanished into thin air!" Kiara's voice sounded urgent, a note of desperation creeping in.

Raghbir let out an audible sigh, frustration evident in his response, as he rubbed his temple.

He didn't want to be late for the date, but Kiara was after all his best friend! He couldn't leave her sick either.

"Send me the address. But seriously, what possessed you to hit the club at 8 in the evening?" he questioned, incredulity seeping into his words.

"I just wanted to unwind, Raghs! Now please, I really don't feel well," Kiara's plea was laced with genuine distress, but it grated against his already frayed patience.

Suppressing the urge to roll his eyes, Raghbir reluctantly agreed. "Alright, I'll be there soon," he conceded before ending the call, resigning himseld to yet another disruption in the evening plans courtesy of Kiara's impulsive antics.

Sighing he shook his head, as he walked towards the Parking area.

What a start of the evening!!

As Raghbir entered the club, he could see Kiara leaning against the wall, looking pale and feverish. "Yaar, what happened to you?" he exclaimed, worry evident in his voice as he approached her. The irritation long gone.

Kiara grimaced, clutching her head. "Raghs, I feel like my head's about to explode. Can we please get out of here?" she pleaded, her voice strained with discomfort.

Without hesitation, Raghbir nodded, taking her arm to support her as they made our way towards the exit. "Don't worry, we'll get you home and sorted," he reassured her, trying to sound more confident than he actually felt.

With Kiara settled in the car, he shut the door softly and hopped in the car before speeding up.
