Author's POV
Raghbir stood before the mirror, adjusting his cufflinks for what felt like the hundredth time. His eyes scanned his reflection, ensuring every hair was in place and every crease was crisp.
Satisfied, he gave himself a nod of approval.
Behind him, his room was a testament to his pre-departure frenzy. It seemed like a tornado's aftermath—utter chaos!!
Boxes of Watches and ties were scattered across the bed, like discarded treasures.
The bedside drawer was hung open, revealing its disorganized contents.
Perfume bottles littered the dresser—obviously, because he was in dilemma for which one to spray for the night.
His eyes moved to the wrist watch that showed the time 6:47
God! He was such a mess. He needed to hurry!
As he turned to leave, his gaze swept the room, taking in the chaos. That's when he spotted the forgotten bouquet on the tea table.
How can he be so careless?? God!!
Rushing to retrieve it, he felt a flutter in his chest. The flowers were more than just a gesture; they held significance. With the blooms securely in hand, Raghbir took a deep breath, mentally preparing himself for what lay ahead. He muttered softly under his breath, the words lost amidst the quiet of the room. With one final glance, he stepped out of the room.
He was finally going!

.Raghbir gazed at the woman sitting right in front of him.
He couldn't believe that the woman he loved was both beautiful inside and out.
The way she always understood him, stood by him like a rock through every up and down of life, and took care of every single thing after his father's demise left Raghbir with nothing but gratitude... and guilt.
He felt ashamed of himself for accusing her of something she never did, for uttering those venomous words that now sounded like sins to his own ears.
His heart bled as he reminisced about the past, when all she was doing was being good to him. He had been nothing but a jerk, yet she still stuck with him. And the way she handled everything so maturely left him dumbstruck.
And that's why he had asked her out to dinner. He wanted to beg for forgiveness; he needed to.
"I know I'm beautiful; you can stop staring," Meera's voice dragged him out of his reverie. She took in his shocked expression and giggled. The corner of his lips twitched, but he refrained from smiling and kept a poker face. Clearing his throat, he stated, "I'm not staring."
"Sure, as you say," she giggled again.
Raghbir hung his head low, embarrassed at being caught staring.
For the next fifteen minutes, as Meera ordered food and waited for it to arrive, he didn't meet her eyes. He looked everywhere and at everyone else except Meera.
Meera wasn't a fool to not notice that. Obviously, she noted the ways he had kept his head low when he gave her the flowers. The way he played songs to avoid talking to her throughout the drive. The way he refrained himself from touching her until she had approached him on her own and held her hand out. And she definitely didn't miss the hesitation in his eyes when he held her hand. And even now, he wasn't meeting her eyes.
