Author's POV :

"Jab bhi mai bahar hota hu na, baarish jarur hoti hai", Raghbir chuckled nervously as he drove his car towards Meera's apartment.

She laughed as she heard him.

"Aapko nehi pasand baarish?", Meera asked, raising her brows.

Raghbir looked at her and made a face making her frown.

"It's not like I hate rain. But I don't like it either", He shrugged and she smiled at him

Soon he pulled the car in front of her apartment. Just as he was about to get down, she interrupted,"Raghbir, will you stay back at my place tonight?"

Raghbir was startled.

"I mean, it's raining, I - I don't want you to fall sick.", Meera looked at her fidgeting fingers on her lap.

He smiled, "Bol hi dijiye ki aap Hume aapke Paas chahti hai"

Meera's eyes widened. She smacked his shoulder and they shared a hearty laughter.

Raghbir emerged from the closet with a mischievous grin, catching Meera's attention as she entered the room. "Where are we sleeping tonight?" he teased, a playful glint in his eyes.

Meera, equally playful, responded with a smirk, "I've prepared the guestroom for you, Mr. Mischief."

His face fell dramatically, but he couldn't hide the twinkle in his eye. "Guestroom? Are you banishing me already?" he pretended to pout.

Laughing, Meera playfully nudged him. "Don't be dramatic, Raghbir. You can sleep here if you want."

"No not at all! Good night! I will retire to the guestroom only'', Raghbir smiled.

As they bid each other goodnight, Meera called out from the doorway, "And remember, you can call me if you need anything."

Raghbir winked, "I might just do that."
.
.
Alone in his room, Raghbir tossed and turned restlessly, the weight of the night bearing down on him. The clock ticked away the hours, each minute stretching into eternity as the storm raged outside.

He felt incredibly dumb to not sleep next to her when she offered.

God!!

He tossed again.

By the time the clock struck one, Raghbir could bear it no longer. With a resigned sigh, he rose from his bed and made his way through the dimly lit hallway to Meera's room. The sound of the rain grew louder by the time he reached her room.

Will Meera like if I go like this?

He hesitated but put his hand on the door knob. But left it immediately.

What if Meera gets furious?

He took a step back.

She won't mind, they are in a relationship, right?

Yes. She won't mind.

He sighed and decided to enter.

"jo hoga dekha jayga", Raghbir muttered.

Pushing open the door to Meera's room, Raghbir's eyes fell upon her sleeping form, illuminated by the soft glow of the bedside lamp. A surge of warmth flooded his chest as he watched her peaceful slumber, the exhaustion of the night melting away in her presence.

He walked towards the bed and without a second thought, Raghbir slipped under the covers beside her, drawing her into his arms with a tenderness born of love and longing. Meera stirred slightly, her eyes fluttering open to meet his gaze.

"Raghbir?" she murmured, her voice heavy with sleep.

He smiled down at her, his heart overflowing with emotion. "I couldn't sleep," he confessed, his words a whispered declaration of his deepest feelings.

Meera's eyes softened with understanding as she nestled closer to him, her fingers tangling with his as they surrendered to the embrace of the night. In that moment, with the rain drumming against the windows and the world outside fading into obscurity, Raghbir knew that he was exactly where he belonged – in the arms of the woman he adored the most.

Feeling the weight of exhaustion and the comfort of Meera's presence, Raghbir gently pulled her close by her waist, drawing her into an intimate embrace. Meera, sensing his need for closeness, nestled into the crook of his neck, her breath warm against his skin.

Raghbir's body surged with a sudden surge of desire.

He took a sharp breath as he realized what of an effect she had on him. He rose above Meera, his movements swift and assertive. With a hungry urgency, he captured her lips in a passionate kiss, their mouths meeting with fervent intensity.

There was no time for hesitation as their bodies pressed together, their hands roaming eagerly over each other's skin, seeking out every inch of warmth and connection. Meera responded with equal fervor, her fingers tangling in his hair as she pulled him closer, their breaths mingling in a heady mix of desire and longing.

In the heat of the moment, time seemed to blur as they lost themselves in each other, their movements fueled by a primal need for closeness and connection. Their bodies moved together in a frenzied dance of desire, each touch igniting a fire that burned hot and bright between them.

With a gasp of pleasure, they surrendered to the passion that consumed them, their kisses growing deeper and more fervent with each passing moment. In that whirlwind of sensation, they found release, their bodies entwined in a symphony of pleasure and ecstasy.

As they lay spent in each other's arms, their hearts racing and their bodies still humming with the echoes of their shared passion, Raghbir and Meera knew that in that fleeting moment of intimacy, they had found a love that burned bright and unyielding, a bond that would endure even the fiercest storms.
