What to Expect When Expecting in an Omegaverse: Minsung

CW!! This chapter is mostly smut because this is a continuation of Jisung's heat from last chapter. Jisung wakes up feverish with his lower body aching and cramping painfully. The omega groans and shifts in his bed, unconsciously searching out the presence of the alpha that was in his bed when he'd fallen asleep. They'd stayed up most of the night- Jisung being shockingly insatiable. Every time he was sated long enough to fall asleep he would wake up cramping and needy less than an hour later.

Minho, in all his grace and generosity, has been getting Jisung off when he woke up desperate and whining, whether that be with his knot, or his mouth and hands when the alpha was particularly spent. The aforementioned man is nowhere to be seen when Jisung feels around for him with his eyes still closed. The omega whines at the pain in his stomach, distantly wondering why the alpha wasn't helping him. Then he opens his eyes and sees his bed empty of a certain brown-haired alpha.

Panic immediately bubbles in Jisung's stomach and creeps into his throat, making it tight. He springs up fast enough to make himself lightheaded. His head is dizzy and his thoughts race. His heat-stricken mind is consumed with assumptions of why Minho was nowhere to be seen. At the forefront of his mind, he feels afraid and rejected. The alpha left him alone when he's vulnerable and helpless, and he doesn't feel safe.

Just as Jisung's eyes start to well up with tears and his body transitions into fight or flight, his door is being opened quietly. Minho is walking back in, alarmingly calm and with two bottles of water tucked under his arm and a bowl of instant noodles in his hand. The alpha seems to notice Jisung's state of consciousness and raises his eyebrows in surprise.

"You're up. I thought you'd be out for atleast another couple of hours." Minho chuckles casually as if Jisung wasn't on the brink of a panic attack. When the omega only responds with a quivering bottom lip and a stressed furrow in his brow, the alpha is rendered stiff with confusion. "W-what?" He questions with his tone equally guilty as it is confused.

"I was scared..." Jisung admits quietly as the heat and pain in his loins temporarily subsides in his brief moment of clarity. "I thought you left." He continues meekly, insecurity and vulnerability lace his tone. Hearing himself speak, he realizes how pathetic he must look and sound. He internally berates himself for even reacting like this in the first place. What's going on with me?

"No, I just went to the kitchen to get you some water. I also ran into your roommate and he showed me where you guys keep your ramen... Also he seems pretty pissed with you." Minho responds as he comes fully into the room. He closes the door behind him and approaches the omega to hand him one of the bottles.

"I forgot about him" Jisung sighs as he accepts the water from Minho. The omega was so wrapped up in his pseudoheat and so goddamned horny. He completely forgot that his roommate, Seungmin, could probably hear the almost constant sex they'd been having since last night when Minho came.

"Yeah, you were kinda loud." The alpha chuckles as he tries to also hand Jisung the bowl of ramen. The omega's stomach twists unpleasantly at the sight of the food and he shakes his head in refusal. "Come on, you need to eat something." Minho insists, a silent stare down then ensuing- one in which, Jisung concedes first and takes the warm plastic bowl.

Minho sits down on the bed as Jisung tentatively starts to eat. Both he and the alpha are quiet, Minho scrolling on his phone, the sound of his fingers tapping can be heard every now and then. The salty warm broth on Jisung's tongue feels nice for only a moment before he just starts to feel queasy. He forces himself to eat a bit more, just so he can attempt to replenish some of the energy he'd spent last night.
