What to Expect When Expecting in an Omegaverse: Minsung

The Norway Dream.

Jisung is eighteen weeks along in his pregnancy, or four months out of nine. He's noticed he's been a bit moody, also a little irritable. Only a smidgen though. It's definitely not like he'd gotten super pissed at Seungmin for not finding a video he sent him funny. He also definitely didn't storm out of said roommate's room in a huff because of this.

The two made up only a day ago. Jisung sent him one of their signature long thought out apology texts, like they both tend to do when they realize they were wrong after an argument. It may be a little strange to make up strictly through text message, but it's worked for them through five years of friendship. If it isn't broken, don't fix it, right?

In the text that Jisung sent his roommate, he acknowledged that he was immature and unnecessarily mean, and apologized for that. He also explained to him that he lashed out because he feels hurt and betrayed by Seungmin. He told him that it feels like the beta is turning his back on him when he needs him most. Seungmin replied back and reassured him that he wasn't moving out because he didn't like him, or because he was angry at him. It was actually the complete opposite- Seungmin still likes him very much, to the point that he considers Jisung one of his bestfriends. He's just worried that introducing another person- not to mention a helpless and dependent person- to their dynamic as roommates would cause resentment and misunderstandings between them. The beta man told him that he understands that Jisung doesn't think that his baby would cause this, but that this change would be too big of an adjustment for Seungmin right now. He just doesn't want to put unnecessary strain on their friendship when they could both just go their separate ways while continuing to support and care for each other.

After Seungmin took the time to reiterate and explain everything to Jisung, the omega felt better about where they stood. Seungmin is still moving out, but he's not in a rush to leave as soon as possible, and it's not because he hates Jisung. It's simply just a change that Seungmin isn't comfortable with right now, and it's not really something he should be shamed for or forced to deal with. This isn't any of his fault, anyways.

That's why they were on good enough terms for Jisung to come knocking on his door after a particular video tickles the omega until he's almost pink. Changbin took Nabi with him and his father on a fishing trip, and Changbin sent Jisung a video of the pup trying to eat a fish alive. The alpha's dad was showing the toddler a fish that he'd just caught and he let her touch the catch, but she was immediately trying to shove the still moving fish into her mouth. The video ends with some panicked shouting from Changbin and an abrupt ending. The alpha sent the video to Jisung with a string of laughing emojis and an acknowledgment that Felix would kill him if he saw the video.

Jisung found the short video absolutely hilarious and sent it to Seungmin in his fit of laughter from the living room. After a couple of minutes of no reply from his roommate, Jisung gets up and knocks on the beta's door to make sure he got it and laughed at it too.

"Did you get the video I sent you?" Jisung questions as soon as Seungmin opens his door. The beta seems caught off-guard by the omega standing at his bedroom door.

"Yeah, I got it. It was cute" the beta and Jisung barely notices him pointedly not looking below Jisung's face.

"Did you laugh? It was funny, right?" Jisung is giggling as he asks this and Seungmin furrows his brows in response.

"I guess? It wasn't all that funny to me. That's just what toddlers do." The beta shrugs casually before continuing, "Where are your clothes?" Seungmin asks as he obviously gets annoyed with having to avoid unintentionally looking at Jisung's upper body. The omega isn't wearing a shirt, which was never a problem before, but there are clearly bigger problems right now.

"How did you not find that funny? It was hilarious!" Jisung is seemingly too offended to grace Seungmin with an answer for his partial nudity.

"I don't know, I said it was cute!" Seungmin sighs exasperatedly and Jisung just groans. The omega storms away in a huff, leaving his roommate confused and feeling slightly violated by his casual nudity.

It doesn't take all that long for Jisung to realize he was pissed for basically nothing, and he's embarrassed once again. He thinks that he may be so irritable lately because he isn't getting good sleep anymore. The sleep deprivation is probably catching up to him, because he rarely sleeps through the night. He will lie awake for a large bulk of the night and then when he finally falls asleep, he'll have extremely vivid dreams. They're usually not scary or unsettling, but mostly just strange and leaving him feeling the opposite of rested.

Only a couple of nights ago, he dreamed that he was in the hospital for some strange reason and he'd broken out and was running down the street. The police were coming after him and he was wanted in all of South Korea and Eastern Asia. Somehow, he ended up jumping into Minho's car- the alpha, by the way, had a really strange and thick bowl haircut- and he begged the older to drive him to Norway.

Why Norway? Jisung has absolutely no idea why, but they get to Norway by car and he dyed his hair grey. He told the locals he was an ahjussi, because apparently everyone in Norway speaks fluent Korean. He then realized he didn't have any money, he and Minho were broke after immigrating across the world on a whim, so he had to get a job. He then did try to get a job, but then he learns that he's also wanted in Norway for whatever he'd done to get put in a hospital back in South Korea? He woke up before he could ever learn what he did that lead to these events or if he ends up staying in Norway even though he's a wanted man.

The dream left him confused to say the least, and now he's afraid that Minho will actually get a bowl cut. Hopefully he's not a wanted criminal in Norway either.

I just wanted to tell you guys that Jisung's dream was a dream that I actually had (save for some name changes, of course, and I also wasn't in South Korea at any point in the dream lol). I was equally as baffled as him. I had to write the details down as soon as I woke up so I didn't forget them because it was just so absurd and vivid. Genuinely thought about it for days and had to memorialize it somehow!
