What to Expect When Expecting in an Omegaverse: Minsung

Minho's Apartment.

Finally being in his second trimester apparently does not mean also finally being at peace in his own body for Jisung. He's bloated, still nauseous, tired, and moody. Maybe the headaches have improved, marginally. Jisung just hopes that it's true that the second trimester is the most comfortable. Otherwise, he thinks he'll lose his mind before he ever even meets his pup.

It doesn't help that getting knocked up has also essentially put his entire social life on hold. The only people he sees outside of work are Felix and Minho. It's difficult to come up with an explanation for his friends. Why does he keep rain checking on them, and why is he suddenly "busy" all of the time now? It's all due to him not being able to do the things his friends want to do anymore. He can't drink and he doesn't want to stay out all night knowing he's exhausted by 9 PM now. Then, if they're doing neither of those two things, he just doesn't feel good and wants to lie down. It's upsetting to know they're probably just making plans without him now, but he doesn't know what else to do. This is all Minho's fault. Stupid alpha.

Said stupid alpha is currently wrapped around Jisung like some sort of human backpack. One of the alpha's arms is draped across Jisung's chest with the younger lying on his back and the older's leg also wrapped around Jisung's and tucked in between the younger's thighs. Jisung couldn't move even if he wanted to. Luckily, he doesn't want to.

They'd fallen asleep in Minho's bed after *trying* to watch the new episode of an anime they'd started watching together. Admittedly, they didn't watch much of the episode because they kept talking over it, and Minho had the zoomies so he wouldn't leave Jisung alone to pay attention to it. The omega pretends like it's annoying, but he likes it when Minho gets hyper and can't seem to leave him alone. It's endearing and makes the younger feel like Minho really enjoys his presence.

Despite the fun they'd had last night, Minho still has to wake up at eight in the morning and unwrap his himself from Jisung. The absence of warmth that came from the alpha's body makes it difficult for the younger to fall back to sleep after the older's alarm had gone off. Minho's bedroom is dimly lit from the sunlight spilling in through his curtains and Jisung can see him getting dressed.

"Hyung," the younger lifts his head to call with his voice heavy with sleep. "Can you get back in the bed? I'm cold." He complains with his eyes barely open and a tired pout on his thin lips. The sight of Jisung in bed, pouting with dark hair all over his head does admittedly make for a charming sight.

"I have to teach the kids today" Minho responds as he approaches the lump in his sheets. He's speaking quietly as if speaking too loud would scare Jisung out of his comfortable position in his bed.

"I don't want you to leave" Jisung murmurs sleepily before his head drops heavily back onto the pillow and his eyes close again. The omega can't see it but Minho smiles at him fondly as he pushes the younger's bangs back to expose knitted together brows. Minho sighs and lets Jisung's hair fall back over his forehead and continues getting ready to go to the dance studio.

The alpha leaves shortly after Jisung falls back to sleep. Minho usually leaves him alone in his apartment until he gets back from teaching his dance class around 10:30 or 11AM. Jisung wakes up around an hour after the alpha left. It's nearly 9:30AM and he's starving. He doesn't want to wait for Minho to get back so he can feed him.

Jisung gets up to raid the alpha's fridge for something edible and quick to make. Minho is notorious for only ever having ingredients and no actual food. Apparently, the alpha cooks a lot when he's home, but most of the time, he eats at the restaurant he works at or brings something back with him. Jisung, on the other hand, always has some sort of instant food at his and Seungmin's place. He also eats out a lot. It's kind of ridiculous how much money Jisung spends on doing that though. Eventually, Jisung just settles on eating two tangerines and hoping Minho will be so merciful as to feed him real food when he comes back.
