What to Expect When Expecting in an Omegaverse: Minsung

CW!! This chapter heavily focuses on abortion and the medical policies surrounding it. It's not a light-hearted chapter at all. If you want to avoid the topic or just would like to opt out of the angst, I'd highly recommend you skip this chapter and probably the next two as well. If you want, you can read the first part before the page break because that will mostly be Jisung talking to Minho about the pregnancy. Though, abortion is mentioned again but kept relatively brief.

After Jisung's conversation with Felix, he does feel something like a fire lit under his ass. He's got to check things off of his to do list if he wants to go through with the termination. He can't really wait much longer. That means he needs to tell Minho.

He texts Minho, probably out of the blue to the alpha, and asks him if he can meet him somewhere Monday after work. Minho agrees and suggests they meet at the restaurant Minho works at after his shift, since that would be the most convenient for the older after a 10 hour shift. Jisung agrees and prepares himself to break the news to him over the next few days.

Jisung shows up at the restaurant around 4 PM, like they'd agreed. He'd gotten off of work at 3 and came straight to him, so he's a little early. He texts Minho and tells him that he arrived and where he's sitting. It takes a moment for the alpha to reply, but he tells him he's clocking out and will be coming out in a moment. The omega's heart starts racing as soon as he reads that message.

He'd practiced how he would say it. He wouldn't beat around the bush, keep the pleasantries short, and then get the fuck out of here. He really didn't want to stick around and talk about things. As far as he's concerned, he's just breaking the news but was nice enough not to do it through text.

"Hey," Minho gets his attention as he approaches the table Jisung was sitting at. "Are you hungry?" The alpha asks as he sits down across from him. He's dressed in a white T-shirt and black pants, his hair is also pretty messy. He does look really handsome and Jisung finds himself feeling a bit nervous.

"Uh, n-no. I ate... earlier." Jisung responds as he's barely able to look Minho in the eyes. Instead, he finds the cloth napkin on the table extremely interesting.

"Okay... Well, you wanted to see me, right? Here I am." Minho tries at a teasing tone to alleviate some of the tension, and it does work a bit. Jisung is rolling his eyes at the older.

"I didn't say I wanted to see you, I said I wanted to talk to you." The younger bites back and Minho smirks with a chuckle.

"You could've talked to me on the phone. You obviously just wanted to see me in the flesh, and that's okay." The alpha continues to tease him and Jisung shakes his head.

"No. I don't- I didn't think it was appropriate to talk about this over the phone." The omega starts to mumble and look down again. Minho seems to get concerned as he shifts uncomfortably in his seat, but manages to keep his air of calm.

"Okay, what's up? You seem nervous." Minho asks for him to continue. Jisung fumbles for his words for a moment, all the rehearsal he'd done for this moment is now out the window. The alpha just sits and waits patiently, though he does seem to become a little nervous as well.

"Um, okay- so, uh..." Jisung fumbles under Minho's gaze. Then he's closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, "I'm- I'm pregnant." He gets it out and opens his eyes to assess the damage. Minho is looking at him with a confused furrow to his brow.

"By... me?" The alpha asks after a lapse of silence. Jisung wants to be offended and to curse him for even thinking he's letting just anybody impregnate him. Then he's thinking of the nature of their relationship, and how he also assumed Minho was hooking up with other people. It's not like they owe each other any loyalty or anything like that.
