What to Expect When Expecting in an Omegaverse: Minsung

It's the second day of the work week, Tuesday. Jisung is almost four and a half months pregnant and the fluttering in his tummy is much more frequent than before. It's also been about a week since Changbin told Jisung about Minho going on dates.

Jisung's still upset about it. He thinks about Minho pretty often, and everytime he thinks of him, he finds himself thinking of how hurt by him he is. It's like a vicious cycle, because everytime he feels his baby move- he's thinking of Minho too. It's frustrating to say the least.

His phone buzzed with a notification and it's Minho. It's always Minho. Jisung keeps any conversations with the alpha short now, that's if he even replies. Part of him feels like he's doing what's best for himself and putting distance between them. Other times, he feels like he's punishing Minho. Neither explanation makes him feel any better.

The link Minho sent him is to the website of a baby store. More specifically, it's a link to a onesie and it's available in sizes 70 to 90. The onesie has bunny ears and a little white cotton tail, and it does come in pink, as well as; grey, white, and blue- in case they're not having a girl, but Minho really believes they are. The little outfit is also ₩51,000! Jisung thinks that's kind of absurd.

"Hyung, are all baby clothes supposed to be so expensive?" The omega thinks aloud to Changbin, who sits at the desk directly across from him. The alpha is chuckling as he looks up from his computer.

"Yeah. Baby clothes take up all of my money! Nabi-ya is constantly growing out of clothes every 3 to 6 months, but it feels like we're replacing them more frequently than that. She's tall, so she only fits her actual age group size for all of a month before she's outgrown them." Changbin seems to feel strongly about the subject because he has a lot to say. "I hope you're having a girl so all of the clothes she's gotten barely one wear out of can finally be used by someone." The older man adds.

"I actually feel like I might be having a girl now. I know I said I want a boy, but my eomma said that I'm carrying round and that means it's girl. I'm not sure how reliable her take on it is since she has two sons and a nephew. Minho's mom also said she thinks I'm having a girl too though, because she remembered she dreamt of being given a white flower around when I found out I'm pregnant." Jisung explains all of the theories surrounding the sex of his pup.

"Yongbok-ah dreamed of butterflies when he was pregnant with Nabi-ya" Changbin notes before he's continuing, "I bet you'll have a boy though, especially since everyone thinks you're having a girl. I can actually imagine you with a little boy, but not really a girl."

"Why can't you imagine me with a girl? Can you not see me carrying around a pink diaper bag with unicorns printed all over it?" Jisung chuckles as he teases Changbin about his daughter's diaper bag that the alpha can very often be spotted toting around when he's out with her.

"Yeah, that's funny" the alpha responds with a roll of his eyes, "but I think I imagine you with a hyperactive little boy. I can't see you being all cuddly and warm with your little girl" Changbin explains and Jisung pouts.

"You don't think I can be cuddly and warm?" Jisung questions, a little offended that Changbin doesn't think he's capable of being sweet to his own pup. "Even if I have a boy, I'd still be cuddly and warm with him. My moms were always affectionate and gentle with me. I turned out fine, maybe a little spoiled at times though." The omega laughs lightly and the older man shrugs in response.

"Yeah, maybe. I can see that, but I still imagine you with a boy. One that you would roughhouse and terrorize everyone with." The alpha replies with an amused smile, this makes Jisung chuckle.
